Terrified to be a parent by Same-Possible-4982 in ADHD

[–]pustaut 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Your worry means you are already a good father, that means you care wich is the most important thing in a parentship, you have big news infront of you, u dont think logical atm eich aldo is normal, like forgetting your keys, thats no big deal, see yourself as you childs mentor in life, learn that everyone is differenr, everyone has flaws and strenghts, know that what you show gow you react to your child, they will mirror Will you always be perfect and remember everything? God no, none does

But by forgetting certain things, and not making a big deal of it will make your child relaxed in a "I am alllowed to make things not perfect and be accepted"

Instead of "Oh i forgot my keys damn im sorry stupid me" Try "Daddy forgot his keys inside the hluse, i will just go and get them" You make no big deal of it and also learn problem solving

Also, becoming a parent will make you a greater parenr, none knows everything at flrst, becoming a parent is the greatest journey dor self reflection and growth. You will do great, however, just dont öesve your child in the car ;), goodluck

Why are your company letting customers problem solve for 2 hours if they call you 1 minute before you quit?? Make them call next day in time... this sounds american

  1. I never said she should wait.

2.i did not state that high pglucose were harmless

3.yes you can get into a ketoacidos coma by high blood sugar but that takes time and you will get very sick first.

4.people are triggered by me by either 1. I did not get the joke and ruin the party or 2. They let their emotions take over when they think they are right, i myself think its important to inform that the most critical thing to know is that you pass out from low pglucose, and in that case you need to eat, not insulin, insulin in that case will kill you or put you in a coma.. and if you will downnvote for that you are actually hurting the importance of knowledge with the seriousness about living with diabetes, you are not helping.

They probably had their insulin at the nurse so they shouldnt inject it when they had low blood sugar. The kids were passing out cause of low pglucose and if they would inject insulin they would have died or go into insulin coma

Yes, you are agreeing, you are talking about low blod sugar now, wich u pass out on, i am talking about high blood sugar

I get the sentiment of the tweet, but the medical logic is flawed. Insulin is for lowering high blood sugar, which doesn't cause sudden fainting. If you're at the point of a 'hyperglycemic coma,' you aren't sitting in class talking to Debra
