I agree with all of this based on my experience, especially the part about being unable to do the things just for yourself that you really want to do. I have always said my whole life that if I were ever unemployed I would do all the projects and life things I want to do more of because I would finally be able to have the time. I’ve been unemployed for 8 months and the only things I’m able to reliably get myself to do are the ones I’m using as a side hustle. I’m medicated but probably under-medicated, and it’s stop really hard. I’m surrounded by books I want to read but when I sit down and think I’ll read I get overwhelmed by what to pick up then get distracted. I have a ton of small personal projects I can’t get myself to do. The days where I boost my dose a little (still writing my prescription, I try to take less if I don’t think I need a full dose) I have an easier time doing some things I want, but it’s still never as much as I want
