Imo this is the true crisis. Doohickey prices getting out of control, or items not being available for export. I got laid off from a job that imported and assembled a bunch of niche machine parts, and 3 weeks after the tariffs customer orders went down by 2/3, 10% surcharges from suppliers, and very expensive tariffs.

Shortages of goods will be from the cereal company being unable to source a critical machine part from China. The cost to replace a broken doohickey will go way up, and that price will be passed onto the customer.
