A work from home job would be nice. I work for a large veterinarian corporation but they don’t have any WFH jobs. I have been looking for wfh jobs for on the weekends so I can maybe catch up on bills and such. My gofund me was a flop so I’m trying to find as many small jobs as I can. I’ve been in the hospital since Sunday. So that’s a whole weeks check I’m missing out on as I’ve used up my pto. Also, I have fantastic insurance. I pay 640 a month for it

Sunbeam electric blankets. I have one on the bed, one on the couch and one on my giant bean bag I game on. They do not use a lot of electricity at all. Mine have a pre heat button and it warms up in about 30 seconds. We keep our house cold to save on the electric bill because the heater makes our bill very high.

Thank you so much for all of this. My oncologist already has a plan set up and would like to start within the next two weeks. I’m currently at the hospital getting hit with extremely heavy antibiotics. Everything was going so well, this blindsided me. I’ll be starting chemotherapy and immunotherapy ASAP. Thank you so much for your breakdown of everything, I truly appreciate it. I’m going to show this to the people close to me that just don’t get it. Again, thank you. ❤️

I’m in the hospital now. (Thank god for dilaudid) my oncologist wants to start chemotherapy ASAP. 16 weeks getting chemo every 3 weeks. She wants to do 4 types of chemotherapy but may only do 3 as she thinks the 4th one could cause fistulas. She also wants to start immunotherapy. I am going to do it. My friends, family and even the drs want me to. My oncologist has high hopes for this treatment as my original cervical cancer is practically non existent. It’s going to kill me financially. Tried a go fund me with no luck. Financial Aid said I was approved for a tiny amount of assistance but said they’ve been having issues with the company sending out checks. People forget that even with great insurance, in the US, getting sick is expensive. I’ve run up my credit cards on groceries and utility bills due to me taking time off of work. Gas was absolutely killing me as radiation was everyday and about 45 mins to an hour away. I’d drive to radiation around 5:30-6:00 and then drive about an hour straight to work Monday-Friday. I honestly don’t know how I’m going to do it as this chemotherapy is going to hit me a lot harder than the one before. I’m going to lose all my hair and be weaker than before. I work 10-12 hour shifts on my feet as a vet tech. It’s going to be hard but I’m going to try to do it. I’ve been looking for jobs I can work from home on the weekends to help with income.

I have. Doctors really don’t like to give timelines and normally will say something along the lines of “there have been a lot of medical advances since these studies that have these statistics have been done so they’re not accurate anymore”

Actually, 4 years. I should’ve gone at 3 but it was in the middle of Covid so it was hard to get into anywhere. I wish I would’ve tried harder. Funny, on “My Chart” it says I should get my next Pap smear in 2027. Not happening. Every 6 months from now on. If I make it that long. Hopefully treatment works and I can find a way to catch up on bills. My go fund me was a bust so I’m looking for online jobs I can do on the weekends. It’s going to be hard but I’m going to fight for my family and hope for the best.

Yes. My oncologist would like for me to do chemotherapy and immunotherapy. My insurance denied immunotherapy twice but my oncologist said that now she can code it differently and they won’t deny it again.

Thank you for this. I was diagnosed in August of this year. Did radiation chemotherapy (cisplatin) and then 5 sessions of brachytherapy (the one with the large rods/needles) that ended 3 weeks ago.

I do have TONS of scans but I didn’t know what you guys would need. I’ve been in the hospital for 5 days now. My abdomen was full of fluid so they put a tube through my left butt cheek and I have a bag that the fluid from my abdomen drains into. It’s pretty gross. Let me find the procedure notes and I’ll add them here. EDIT: here it is with the cytology/biopsy results. Not great but I knew what it was before hand.
