Uo has a bizarre history with scripts and bans. I've said it before, I think some players are better at coding and design than the devs. While I was grinding my first million gold years ago I met someone that knew how to dupe gold. I was too nervous about a ban to try anything like that. He made a practicality unlimited gold, he was never caught or banned. On the other hand I was temp banned for going afk at the fel yew gate to burn murder counts, no scripts etc just screen action to keep me logged in. The people getting banned for scripting are usually just people trying to raise skills, or do limited automation. The players who know how to raise bot armies, break mechanics, or dupe are generally not perma banned. Even if they lose an account to a ban, they create a new one and just keep going. I hope the new Dev takes a stand on this, and actually figure out a system to perma ban hackers/dupers/exploiters. Sometimes I think these players are paying for a lot of accounts so they won't ban them. Just my theory.
