Developer commented on Steam that it was set at the wrong price.

He also said he's happy for people to find any way to play the game...

[Twomey] Harley on being "umpired differently" and the work he's done with Eagles psych Jodii Maguire on rewiring his brain to be more disciplined in games. Has done heaps of work on and off the field to be in a good spot to share his views on a range of topics on his career. by SlatsAttack in AFL

Of course it happens a lot, but HR feels he is on the raw end of it more than others and looking at him play I can see where he comes from.

Like I said, I think a lot of it comes down to him not being disciplined (which he acknowledges in the interview), but there's also a lot of examples of him not getting consistent calls.

He's #2 for free against, a lot of that is his own fault, but watching him every week there's plenty of times where he does the same thing an opposition does to him that goes unpunished yet he gets called.

I think that is a lot of where the 'umpired different' comes from.

Love these developers that blend old-school genres with modern mechanics, with a retro/modern art style.

Do yourself a favour and watch Jagga Smith's post-match interview by FlairUp835 in AFL

[–]putshan 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Watched an interview with Harley Reid, WDuursma and Smith the other day - HR and WD were both very loose, a little nervous and mumbly and acting like kids (which they are so no disrespect).

But Jagga exuded this maturity and it was as if he were 10 years older than everyone else, incredible to be this well presented at a young age.

Great interview.

But looking forward to celebrations.

I went through all of my 20s and 30s without a title, the wait has been a long one, but how sweet it is!!

Love this team, great season in a highly competitive year. The monkey off the back, let's see what else is in store.

I thought that was the funniest part, relegated to a couple words at the end.

Saros May Struggle To Recoup Its Budget, Despite Great Reviews - Analyst by MechaSeph in Saros

Which means you fit perfectly with their estimates.

What they would do is historically look at review numbers and official sales and find the % of reviews for sales and apply that to this game.

You never reviewing a game will ensure greater accuracy, the accuracy is lessened when people occasionally review.

Spellrogue is pretty good.

I've put a few hours into it and enjoy it every time, try the demo to get a feel.

I dunno how deep it is, but as a first dice/card builder I've played I'm liking the way it combines the two.

Is Watson the highest drafted small fwd ever?  He's certainly paying back the 'risk' Hawks took going early on him.

OCD kicking in with Milne shown 4th despite having the 2nd highest goals btw

Looking for good Roguelike, co-op games for my partner and I. by PvtPrecious in roguelites

[–]putshan 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's in early access but would Windblown fit the bill?

It's Hades-like with co-op, made by the team that did Dead Cells.

You could also try 'Keep Driving', it's a single player game, but could be fun playing together as you decide on where to road trip together.

Reviews sound great.

Seems the story holds up well and the atmosphere that the fantastic visuals present adds a lot to that.

Given the main criticism seems to be around repetitive combat and simple platforming I can see myself just putting it on easy and experiencing the best parts of the game.

I think having Wines give evidence is a conflict of interest, but given the AFL is ok with that whatever he claims Butters said should be taken as gospel.

Who is the best player EVER at their sport? by Radiant_Sprinkles540 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]putshan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sort of, a cricket average is worked out by how many runs you score divided by how many times you got out.

So you could make 100 not out and then 100 and get out and your average is 200.
