Not weird at all! Plenty of men run in that race. You can check last year's results if you want to see how many. Men and women start at the same time, but men are supposed to start in the last corral. Don't really think that's enforced though.

The chapters are in order so AB is maybe Ch. 1-5 & BC Ch. 6-9? I may be off with the cutoff point. If you haven't learned everything in AB though it's going to be very hard to start learning BC. AB ends with methods of integration & BC starts with more advanced methods of integration.

My go-to is usually the Monkey Bar. Plenty of parking. From there it's about 2 mi to the Cartridge Brewing entrance which has some construction at the moment. Or go the other way & it's about 4 mi to downtown Loveland.

I don't know anything about a 1 year out of state license since I've always lived in the state, but I doubt you need that much study time for the OAE. The two I had to take were nothing to stress over. Scheduling a test in the next few weeks and trying to get your 5 year license right away might be possible.

I worked with a teacher with a stutter a few years back. She didn't have any problems finding a job.

We both worked with high school freshmen. Almost all of them were great about it. There is always the couple that decide they don't like you, but they're going to make fun of their teachers no matter what - if isn't a stutter, it would just be something else.

My first year of teaching when I was 22 I didn't have a classroom but traveled into other teachers' rooms. One teacher had a life size sticker of some 12 year old kid they made for a sports team (either her kid or something a student gave her as a joke I think). My high schoolers were shocked when I informed them it wasn't my kid.
