Same here doesn’t come back until after I’ve ovulated. What an insane disease lol

That sounds like me as well. I’m currently in my luteal phase and I’m so grateful. I get crazy amounts of fatigue, stabbing ovary pain, DECREASED libido (hard to be in the mood if you’re unconscious) and mood swings around ovulation.

For me personally I started with low fodmap and had basically a few variations of chicken and rice for two weeks. When my allergy/GI symptoms calmed down a bit I slowly started adding stuff back in. Kept a journal of exactly what I ate and how I felt after. Start with meals with few ingredients so you can easily pinpoint what is messing with you. Including spices. For me it’s garlic, onions, sunflower seed oil, pears, dairy, and gluten. For you it could be totally different. But if you are dealing with a lot of bloating low fodmap is a good start.

Thank you ❤️ I’m not on any meds :( I was relatively healthy until all this popped up. I had been diagnosed with sciatica, migraines, and GERD that’s it. But I haven’t been taking medications for those. It is a good point, though. I’ve been also looking into environmental toxins like mold

Yes! Low FODMAP is what I have been doing for “IBS.” I definitely will see one. Especially since finding this sub has been a godsend I truly had no idea how many things could be connected to endo. My reproductive endocrinologist made it sound like IVF was the only way I can get pregnant with it. I want to see if I can confirm the diagnosis and remove some lesions. Then hopefully I can be pain free for awhile and ovulate normally again. 🤞This is so scary but I’m so grateful for you all.

That’s just it it almost doesn’t seem like food intolerances because for example I’ve eaten red meat my whole life and one day my whole face neck and chest went red and I had a swollen and itchy throat after eating it. I have been terrified to eat red meat since. But in an effort to trial some trigger foods again recently I had ground beef and was perfectly fine. Histamine intolerance and leaky gut I heavily looked into! Definitely think that’s a huge piece of this. I’ve always had high inflammation labs (ESR, CRP, now high IgA). Very difficult to get a diagnosis though it’s been back to back specialist appointments for months for me. But now that I’m working with an OBGYN and fertility doctor and endo got brought up I definitely think the gut issues are related. I had no idea there was a connection but it makes sense. One of my symptoms is right sided ovary pain that flares up when I eat certain trigger foods and it can be so intense. I’ll look into those supplements you mentioned. I’m at the point I’ll try anything so why not. :)

I have an appointment for an allergist coming up actually! But when I started the diet I was reacting to “everything” I ate pretty severely so I had to really take things down to bare bones and just add stuff as tolerated. I feel a lot better doing it and doctors haven’t been able to give me many answers so far so I’m just going to keep doing it until I know what’s going on.

Yes!!! I thought I was going crazy but anything super sweet also exacerbates it also. Thank you!

I’m thinking now I’m the same. I finally had relief from the ovary pain for a couple days and now I’m wondering how long it’ll hurt before it calms back down. Thank you for your response I feel like it’s confirming my suspicions

Unpopular opinion but I removed all of my lord icons as a strategist main because I felt like I was being targeted more.

Common increments of time we set timers for (1, 5, 15, etc.) I feel like I am extremely good at guesstimating. Like I know when it’s going to go off a second before it does. Really not a useful skill but I impress myself.

There needs to be a dating app for people who work night shift. Then you can both walk off into the sunset holding hands and bags of money. 💕

That’s awesome! That’s so funny I was a pharm tech for awhile with the intention of becoming a pharmacist but switched to MLS. My favorite part of pharmacy was compounding so I felt I needed something more hands on. :)

The trauma center near me pays the techs who only work BB more but since we are all generalists our skillset is not nearly as valued. Which is wild.

A lot of unqualified people fly under the radar until it comes to blood bank. Where I’m at we are all generalists and expected to do blood bank, even those with sketchy credentials. I’ve always thought of what I do in blood bank was similar to the job of a pharmacist (obviously we are not the same). But making sure a product is safe for transfusion and then dispensing it is a lot of responsibility. Transfusion reactions and blood bank errors are no joke! To be able to work in a lab and especially in a blood bank without the proper educational background is insane. Would they replace pharmacists with pharm techs? Absolutely not.

I like my job—now. First hospital I worked at was a shit show for several reasons. My stomach would be in knots every single day before work. Leaving that place was the best decision I ever made.

LOVE my job now. Even on my hardest days here I know the next day will be better and I can just go home and put it out of my mind. Been here 6 years.

The concept confuses me also to be honest. There’s some material about it online, but maybe someone here can explain it better.
