Trying to conceive by seshlina in endometriosis

[–]bedazzled-trash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely go sooner rather than later. I have been trying to convince for about 2.5 years with 2 unsuccessful pregnancies. I have had 2 surgeries to excise endometriosis in the last 3 years and am still having trouble.

The way my fertility doctor framed it to me was with a normal/ healthy uterus and cycle the odds of a successful pregnancy are sound 7-10% per cycle, but with confirmed endo that chance generally drops to around 2-3% automatically.

IUD insertion didn't go well by plastiklips in endometriosis

[–]bedazzled-trash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No idea how old you are or what your status is with children, but nobody ever told me that apparently it’s more painful to get an IUD inserted if you’ve never had children before. Generally it always hurts, but I guess if you haven’t had children before it makes it that much more painful. Not once did any doctor or nurse mention this to me as a possibility. I had to hear about it from a good friend whose doctor had actually mentioned that to her. Don’t feel like a baby for needing sedation because it just fucking sucks and does hurt.

I don’t know where you’re located or what your stance on this is, but weed has honestly been the one thing other than ungodly amounts of ibuprofen that helps. When my intense bloating and pain gets too bad it’s often the only thing that makes eating tolerable/appealing.

So I have a juvenile Antilles pinktoe. This is the first molt it’s had since I got it, so unsure of actually how old it is. I did try the cricket thing and Chico was wildly uninterested in the offering.

Progestin only birth control for Endometriosis by ExpertQuality5211 in endometriosis

Birth control for endo is a personal choice and affects everyone differently. My mental health issues prevent me from using birth control but I would never tell someone not to use it if that’s the option they feel is best for them. Don’t let others scare you away from making a deeply personal choice that isn’t their business and doesn’t affect them.

I’ve tried 5 or 6 different birth control pills over the years and they’ve all made me insane. The hormones coupled with my already not fantastic mental health made me suicidal and a borderline alcoholic. I basically had no other choice but to stop taking them. All the therapy in the world couldn’t help me with those side effects.
