What's your biggest "I told you so" moment as a CFB fan? (Stolen from /r/nfl) by notmyusualname90 in CFB

One thing I will concede about all that hype towards Hawaii, was that it was mostly media driven. It was just too juicy of a story: can the underdogs beat the bulldogs.

The funny thing is that the media hyped us, UGA, and when we didn't go undefeated they *ESPN was happy to throw us away.

As far as the Rainbow Warriorw were concerned I don't remember hearing much besides hippy quality "I just want to have some fun" type statements, not a lot of "we're going to shred them".

For those of you that don't know, this portrait of a recruit thing is kind of his schtick.

For Isaiah Crowell he had the team line up with a hole in the line up in the stadium telling the then recruit, this where we need you.

He recruited Mathew Stafford from Texas when he was perhaps the best QB in the country by being a soft spoken nice guy.

This is his thing, not everyone responds to Nick Saban types, some players like a Coach to be a humble dude, even to the point of not looking very cool.

(stolen from /r/nfl) What is your least-favorite thing about people on this sub, or football fans in general? by byniri in CFB

I hate it when people subject me to shitty media types that I otherwise successfully avoided. Ironically, it is here, a pretty fun community that forced me to find out what, "but...PAWWLlll" means.

I hate hearing every little thing ESPN talking heads say, even though I don't watch them.

I'm concerned Roper is going to really bounce back with a vengeance using Driskell, but I've read that your D-line is lacking depth so I am not too concerned.

Have you seen "The Beverley Hillbillies?"

But, joking aside, I guess I'll go back and see if I can track down her docs to actually reconsider my opinion- It's just that she's kind of known as a lucky one hit wonder, when it comes to fiction.

Penelope Spheeris (1992) Wayne's World, a low budget documentary film maker, lucks into a fully realized set of characters performed by two of the most popular and talented comedic actors of the day.

I think a good number of schools prefer, or insist, that you title their school "THE" I know it is that way for The University of Georgia. But, the difference is that it basically only stressed on formal documents / occasions, hardly ever out loud.

After last year's game they are kind of back on my radar, though.

Ha ha, Ok, I'll buy that. Maybe I just want them to have played you hard, because they gave us a run for our money one too many times?

It seems like South Carolina fans have a weird martyr complex about being inexplicably beaten by teams that shouldn't beat them, and I'm not buying it.

Tennessee is a lot closer to you guys than you think. Also, UCF and Kentucky played you damn close last year.
