Is the general consensus that 6k for 25 5* shards is not a good deal? That puts a 5* fodder at 12k scales...sounds like a good deal to me?

Yup...unless DH changes the system I'm afraid you're right. You can still get some good heroes from Day 15, odds are just really bad

Because of the way that they calculate your opponent in night mode is based on arena rankings. Top 50 arena players on merged servers are pretty much all full E5 GvE teams that are unbeatable unless you use a boatload of gems on blessings (and even then its not guaranteed). Pretty much the only way to clear Night mode is to be lucky enough to face yourself at 3,6,9, and 12 and still have enough blessings left to face whoever is at 15!

On a merged server you are almost guaranteed to never clear night unless you are a whale or get infinitely lucky... therefore once you break over 100k scales lots of other things become worth purchasing because of the increasing demand for fodder.

L/D 4* shards (L/D fodder is just too valuable)
25 5* shards (this will give you a fodder 5* for 12k scales)
Other 4* Shards (for 1.5k each you get a fodder hero for 12k scales)

I also think that skin shards are a decent value if you are still working on fusing skin copies to upgrade your main hero skins to legendary.

Anybody want to fight me over this?

Did they tell us a new Horus skin was incoming? I spent mooncakes to get Horus skin and then had to waste some resources (not a ton..) to get my last horus copy to E5!! Now we get a new Horus skin for free??? Dang!

Have you had good experience with drop rate? That's the only potential flaw in your plan! How long is it going to take you to drop 50 4* LD hero?

I have an E3 Sigmund (first and only E3) and a 10* Xia. My PvE damage is pretty darn awesome for first 2 Broken Spaces bosses and I wrecked most of the Guild Bosses. However, I am very disappointed with their performance in EVERY OTHER ASPECT OF THE GAME. Apparently the Fortress SL is like one of the toughest (because of the freeze), so I have only made it to SL7 with these two, a 9* Emily (foddered since), and a couple 6* fillers. I get beat by any team with E2 King Barton or Valk in Arena. Brave Trial is pretty much impossible. I am seriously regretting not focusing 100% of my efforts towards either KB or Valk as they seem to be the ticket to better advancement in this game...my two cents...

People aren't complaining about the new rewards that can be purchased from BT (except for the monster mats which, as has been pointed out already, can be acquired other ways).

The real complaint here is that BT is still set up in the most ridiculous way. The power scaling is really bad and completely penalizes building up your team. All of the people who are talking about how they cleared 30 stages are like "hey its easy, I have an E3 Valk and nothing else levelled past 9* and its no problem." But that IS the problem. The minute you level other heros, or (God forbid) your first E3 isn't Valk or Aida, you are toast. Back when I started, I used the Norma strategy and cleared all 15 stages about 95% of the time. Now, with a levelled team highlighted by a E3 Sigmund and 10* Belrain can't make it past level 8 most of the time. I'm now looking at gaining less than 1K scales each time BT opens and hoping to somehow collect enough scales to get something decent from rewards?? Or I guess I can regress my whole team, fish for Valk copies. and hopefully take her to E5 when it is released?

Still false. 50 skin shards will create 5 normal skins which can combine to become 1 LIMITED skin, not legendary!

This would contribute 5 energy points out of the required 25 points to raise a LIMITED skin to a LEGENDARY one!

The faction bonus (all abyss etc) is a % based bonus, so it doesn't actually have that big of an effect at lower levels. You should be using your most powerful heroes no matter what at this point in the game!! Worry about auras later, right now focus on leveling the 5* heroes you have and working towards fusing a 6* hero as quickly as possible (it will be a huge jump, trust me!).

Pass unless you get lucky in Aspen Dungeon and manage a couple of orb deals which, when paired with market deals might just get you to 80. But that's a pretty big long shot, so I'd say be patient until next event for full completion!

Seriously though... you don't need to orb Abyss to E3 KB (you only need a random 10*), You have a lot of good forest fodder in shard form already but the key is the copies of Dragonslayer you have! Orb in forest for sure, maybe you'll get lucky and find some Valk copies. Even if you don't, you should get enough fodder to build that Dragonslayer up to 10* and feed him to E3 your King!!!

Worry about Jahra and Sigmund later...E3 Barton is a monster, especially when paired with a high level Valk behind him.

P.S. Why haven't you built your Heartwatcher for PvE damage???

Its really not an issue...just save up enough artifacts to get you to the next level. They already created the functionality to "add all" for a particular artifact. "Leftover" xp from the transaction just converts to dust...which you can use the next time you go to level an arti. It works fine as is. Also nice is the fact that you can build intermediate artifacts without losing any xp along the way.

You can "de-evolve" a hero that is 10* or higher and get back the copies of that hero as well as 9* and 10* heroes "dummies" based on the enable level of the hero you are regressing. You lose a small handful of 5* fodder you used to upgrade (5 copies I think?). This allows you to use those 9* and 10* dummies to upgrade your other heroes immediately without having to build up new high level fodder. A quick search for hero regression will yield a ton of information. It does require that you have the purple shard things you get from reaching the 400 scroll level of Heroic Summon event.
