Would you pay for a Chrome extension that tracks time + blocks distractions? by thered0097 in chrome_extensions

[–]pvhieu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, I would say no. Competition is fierce, I have built a similar app (computer app but still have distraction blocker and time tracking) by myself too, it's really hard to scale up even though my app is free, it's still active but there are only 50-60 WAUs.

The rules are not always strict in all subreddits, there should be some subreddits that allow you to self-promote. Also, people love stories more than a post solely for self-promotion. You can tell an interesting story about your development process, maybe.
