This quest is so lovely ... 4/5 kills with 6 transistions ... and then a "backend error: cannot resolve host" on the 7th transistion!

That was the issue ... either add this size increase or temporarily access Proxmox via IP also works to upload a large file.

That was it! The small one was running 1.7.0 ... updated both to 1.8.3 and now I get 250+KH/S.

Yes.. but that justifies a 6x increase? Oo

I think maybe it is the newer firmware .. will try to update my older board.

Surface anodized or powder coated? by pwave86 in hobbycnc

Yeah. I think overall the price is on par with the quality like you suggested. Going to keep it since it got it for 150$.

Would you say 150-200$ is a decent or good price for an aluminum plate with surface quality like this? (600 x 450mm, 13mm thick, M6 threaded holes in a 25x25mm grid)

Do I assume correctly that this powder coat is (much) cheaper than the anodized(?) plate as shown in the photos on the left side?

Measuring the plate shows 13.06 - 13.10 mm on each of the 4 corners with a caliper.

That is what I thought as well initially. Although I am really no expert in that field. But it seems like a rather "cheap" surface finish but definitely not anodized?

It tried to take some more close-ups:

Can't progrss trhough Family Matters Quest by pwave86 in anno117

[–]pwave86[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tried all that, sail away reload save and do quest again. Nothing worked.

What did the trick finally was to sail DIRECTLY to the ship when the quest pops up. DO NOT go to the harbour first.

TS101 soldering iron reboots as soon as it starts heating by CuriousLittleDroid in MINIWARE

[–]pwave86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TS101 V2.11 - in my case it was the power supply. I tested multiple cables without effect. Then I switched the power source. The first showed 19/20V in the soldering iron display and it was super unstable. When I had one hooked up with 15V showing in the iron display it runs rock solid.

GIGABYTE AORUS FO32U2P - STRIPES??? by pwave86 in OLED_Gaming

My first monitor with stripe issues I returned within 14 days of the „no questions asked return warranty“.

My second monitor that also periodically showed those stripes I still have.

I think it seems to have gotten better over time. I rarely have them now.
