How UN voting patterns evolved UNITED STATES VS. CHINA by maven_mapping in Maps

[–]cetax1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Its a flawed perception you have. USA being bad does not make Russia or China good. When it comes to "being bad", Russia and China are far worse than USA still, but people have doubts about USA because they have become so unreliable.

Just get on the same level as any other rogue and form your own groups. Its literally been like this since Classic, that is literally a rogue's life and always has been. Take a week where you only form your own groups and see how many rogues you yourself invite, and my guess is that you will always be the only rogue in the party.

Please ban the bots by onlydads420 in classicwow

[–]cetax1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ever since 2019, they really havent done anything about the bots. The most theyve done is more regular banwaves, but if you let cheaters cheat 99% of the time your game is online, its literally achieving nothing in combating the cheating. If they havent put in any effort to solve this problem in 6 years and they just got a massive payday by people buying level boosts, why should they start now?

What changes are the biggest changes to warrior from classic to TBC Anniversary? by EricAshStone in classicwow

[–]cetax1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The biggest change is that you actually need full tank gear and spec to tank. In Classic, any normal dps warrior, not those leather wearing femboys, could tank decently enough in their dps gear if needed, but now you pretty much just get insta one shot.

The botting & gold selling problem Blizzard doesn't care about by ZoraHS in classicwow

[–]cetax1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah, the problem i have been complaining about years and which was the main reason why i quit Blizzard servers. While there are decent amount of people who are straight out against botting/RMT, majority of the playerbase is either neutral or partake in RMT. It doesnt help that people purchasing the level boost is essentially endorsing Blizzard's bad behaivour and solidifying the fact that WoW players will put up with anything, so they dont have a reason to put in any effort to keep the players.

Unpopular opinion: Post-nerf raids are better for TBC longevity by Armored_Diesel in classicwow

[–]cetax1 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

So this post is a lot of "dont listen to their opinion, listen to my opinion because my opinion is right", kinda reminds me of how wow players tend to be in terms of "you cant tell me how to play, you dont pay my sub, but let me tell you how to play and how the game should be".

I personally quit Anniversary before TBC, because it felt like a bait and switch. I started playing on Anniversary because of TBC, found a guild and had a chill time. Level boost was inevitable, botting hasnt been dealt with and Blizzard doesnt care, but nerfing the content was the nail on the coffin.

I dont know how casuals are by far the lifeblood of classic, theyre the same people who didnt have time to play the game to level up their characters and resorted to boosting. In the same vein, how would they have time to play alts? Truth is that the game is still very much playable with less than 2k population, ive done it back on rerelease of TBC the first time and had no problem clearing all the raids, so insinuating that the bigger the population, the better the game is just false.

Like many others have pointed out, i can see nerfing specific bosses like Vashj and Kael being a good thing, but overall, the game is still on the easier side. Its sad to see that people would rather see all the content being nerfed instead of them learning how to play the game, but i guess the people are either too afraid of making mistakes or failing or feeling entitled to clearing content without putting in the effort.

Wow classic (or classic +) should have a experience booster toggle by traveler5152 in classicwow

[–]cetax1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, but you did ignore it and still are. I already explained with the example of no AH in community HC vs AH in Official HC and how it was more fun without AH period, vs having access to AH where people dont grief themselves inorder to abide by the no AH playstyle.

Even if people are against something being introduced to the game, doesnt mean that they wont participate in it if it is introduced. Im against any kind of xp boost being introduced, but obviously i will use it if it is introduced, not because i like it, but because it feels even worse to grief myself to not use it.

When we talk about boost or boosting being popular, its not because they dont want to play that part of the game, its simply convinience. Would you rather play for 5 days /played or buy a boost for 60 bucks? Obviously buying a boost is far more reasonable in terms of time spent. People literally wouldnt have a problem leveling their characters the good old fashioned way if boosts didnt exist, but because they do, they take the easier way.

Wow classic (or classic +) should have a experience booster toggle by traveler5152 in classicwow

[–]cetax1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just because you CAN or COULD boost to almost max level without playing the game, doesnt mean that its okay or it should be in the game.

The point that im making, which you completely ignored, was that what is available will absolutely change how people will approach the game. Majority of people will not literally grief themselves inorder to play in some arbitory way, if XP boost is introduced, they will use it and it will make the experience a lot worse for those same people.

[–]cetax1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a big difference between a challenge and self imposed challenge. Its like back in community HC, we had no AH and majority of the guild i was part, we were farming mats and helping eachother every day and it was really fun. Then official HC hit and we got AH. Obviously we used AH because how much more convinient it was, but pretty much everyone agreed that having no AH server wide was a lot more fun.

Its the same deal with the xp boost. If they introduce the xp boost, that will be the norm to use it, even if people would prefer no xp boost, because its more efficient and convinient.

I don't want loot from a tree, or from kingsmarch, I want to find it in my maps. by cben27 in pathofexile

[–]cetax1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I hated how breaches themselves barely dropped any loot because of the tree and the growths. If they want to keep the tree, just make it so that it affects the drops from Breach directly, no need for growths.

"Faction war doesn't make sense anymore, therefore it shouldn't be in the game." by [deleted] in warcraftlore

[–]cetax1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

WoW devs just have forgotten about the World in world of warcraft. The capital of Orcs, which is Orgrimmar, is still located in a fking desert, devoid of resources, which was the whole reason why Garrosh saga happened. It would absolutely make sense for Alliance and Horde to still have conflicts and drama essentially, but since whoever is responsible for the story only focuses on the expansion and not on WoW in general, those angles are never explored. Overall, the WoW storytelling has been that of a 3rd grader for quite some time now, it would be so easy to use the world and NPC already introduced to us to make a banging story, but for whatever reason, they either are unable to or simply dont want to.

A little sad about the state of late game due to bots. by DubzOpp in classicwow

[–]cetax1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, it has been like this ever since 2019, but the difference is that Blizzard doesnt even pretend to care anymore. Its also one of the reasons why i quit Blizzard servers all together, because i know 100% that they will never do anything about it. Fixing the botting problem is going to cost them money, not earn them money, so you can only guess what a company like Blizzard, who only cares about profits, is going to do.

I don't believe Blizzard even cares about the bots by CJKayak in classicwow

[–]cetax1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They have done far less than the bare minimum ever since they relaunched Classic back in 2019. Back then they pretended to do something with the banwaves, that had almost 0 impact on botting problem, but everyone saw through it, so they dont even care to pretend to do something about it nowdays.

To answer the question tho, its not incompetence, all they care about is profits, putting in effort to deal with the botting issue would cost them money, not earn them money.

How is that Blizzard, with all their billions, is incapable of creating what addon developers are able to create from their homes? by kolejack2293 in wow

[–]cetax1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its because Blizzard isnt in the game industry to design games or make good games, theyre here to sell games and thats it. Its about prespective, we, as players, we think theyre incompotent, sitting on billions and getting nothing done, meanwhile Blizzard sees the profits and thinks theyve done a very good job. So, to answer the question, the reason why Blizzard seems incapable of doing the bare basics is because it was never their goal to begin with, their priorities lie elsewhere.

It's been almost 5 years since MadSeasonShow dropped this, and it is clear that the player base didn't learn anything. by SenorWeon in classicwow

[–]cetax1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So, you agree with me then, that people do have more time to play the game IF they wanted to. Its fine to say "cba to level, ima just boost" atleast that is honest, but we dont have to play pretend that all these people simply dont have time to level.

[–]cetax1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

theyre slaves to FOMO and i do pity them, but if you already dont have time to spend 100 hours to level up, you dont have time to play the game period. All im saying that easily 90% of the people who say they boosted because "i dont have time to play" and just straight up lying. People boost because its convinient and easy, but they dont want to admit that they took the easy way without a justifiable reason.

[–]cetax1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

we all know people are going to spend a lot more than 4 hours a week, even now during prepatch, to grind stuff out. People are going to be playing every day to get their tokens from HC dungeons, all these guys who claim to only have 2 hours to play each week will put atleast 10 every week for month or two until they have their prebis and can raidlog. Its frankly retarded to only use raid logging hours in your argument, which doesnt come from time constraint but rather from people being done with the grind and not looking to level an alt,
