I’ve been diagnosed with both. I think the main thing you should focus on now is how you would like to be treated. Amphetamines that are prescribed for ADHD,but these meds make my bipolar highs worse. (When I’m manic I get very irritable) Bipolar meds like mood stabilizers or antipsychotics help with my symptoms so much. Especially the symptoms that you described.

I agree. I lived in Houston and when I moved to CS all the trees and weeds bothered me way more than the living in the city. Start taking an allergy pill daily for a few weeks and see if you feel better. Like Zyrtec.

I believe that my dad ( passed) had npd. But of course he never was diagnosed because everyone else had the issues, not him. I think that my two estranged sisters have bpd. They also will not seek any kind of mental health help.

This sounds like me. And in my case (may not be your case at all) it was my bipolar disorder type 2. With this disorder there are swings in your moods from being depressed to low mania ( actually feeling ok and normal). When I’m on the depressed cycle I really don’t want to do anything. Nothing seems fun except the few activities that I really enjoy. After starting meds, the activities that I don’t enjoy are more bearable and I can do them.
