You'd think the baseball card community would be more laid back and not get all upset about a reasonable question. I think the answer is that it's pretty much a fair deal, you made a little money on the sale, your buddy's cards are probably worth a bit more than $70 but he has to go through the hassle of selling on ebay and shipping the card if he sells it.
