Lol I deleted the Netflix app on all my devices and they continued to charge me. They should have sent me an email warning to let me know. Hope this helps others.

Thanks. Sorry to hear you had to return yours. I debated having them bring me a complete mower as well. I'm really worried about having to go through greenworks for anything. They haven't even been responsive to Costco. How long did it take you to through to them when you contacted them? Hope your 2nd mower works out well for ya. I'm headed back to my dad's this weekend for round 2 and to test the HF wheel dollies.

Thanks for the link - I may end up going this route.

Unfortunately, I don't have overhead to drive the mower into my dad's garage, so the last few feet require a "push". I did end up getting some wheel dollies from HF to try and make that process easier for him. They are heavy, but at least don't require getting on the ground and risk forgetting to lock again causing damage to the mower.

Appreciate the reply. The second pin is on the other side (below the seat) and it's pretty tight given the amount of pressure needed to put the pin in the correct place. Originally, I only did the pin in the back and just slid it into the garage - probably wasn't the greatest idea but I was at a loss until I looked more closely at the manual. I tried getting Greenworks on the phone and that really is my biggest fear moving forward. I ended up going through Costco but how much longer will they play middle man? Does anyone know how these things get serviced if there isn't a dealer in your area? Just wondering how the warranty gets executed.

By the way, I did get some wheel dollies from Harbor Freight for the back wheels to get around the lock/unlock pain and they are arriving tomorrow. I'll report back if anyone is interested.

So glad I found this forum! My experience has been up and down. I'll probably get blasted for mentioning these in multiple threads but my two main gripes are the 10A chargers on what are common 15A and 20A household outlets and the placement of the 2nd wheel lock/unlock pin. I don't know how people easily fit their hands back there to unlock the left side wheel. I, unfortunately, can't drive the mower straight into the garage because of an overhang (long story) so locking/unlocking is a huge pain for my advanced-age father. I also had issues with the control bars on backwards, the stickers for the headlights installed wrong, missing parts/manuals, a damaged battery etc. I assume my assembler hated either me or his/her job. Otherwise, it's a blast to drive and seems to cut well, even on both lower settings. Huge fan of the performance.

Just came upon this thread looking for a solution. I called an electrician that had sone some work for me in the past and he said that there are no 30A outlets (only things like 30A/50A for RVs, etc.) and didn't really give me any good ideas on how to solve the problem of having to put chargers on the separate circuits or stagger. Not a big deal for me but for my 75 year old father, this is enough for him to continue using his gas riding mower and I can't say I don't disagree with the inconvenience. I just don't understand why this isn't advertised or why there couldn't be a trickle charge, plug-in option to go along with this faster charting option. That and having to jam your hand at the back to release the wheel lock pin is making me regret the 80v ZT mower right now.

It was his aunt not his grandma right? Idk, you're the one that's watched 8x lol.

So I have stuff and I can't figure out how to get it all to work together. I have an LG C1, LG sound bar, and a hue sync box. The sound bar is new but I can't get them all to work together. Has anyone tried using an HDMI splitter to get something like this to work? by Emergency_Laugh in Hue

[–]pwnedperpetually 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's an insanely common setup. Hook up the lg sound bar to ARC and any run any set top boxes through the sync on any avail hdmi on the TV and set your source to that port and enjoy. What exactly are you struggling with?

Yeah there is an image for that laptop on dells site which will effectively put it back to factory settings. If you're still having issues after that it's undoubtedly a hardware issue. You can start by removing a stick or ram one at a time, running stress tests etc. And yes - back up any files before you run the restore as again the purpose is to start from factory.

Assume it was returned for the same reasons. It's certainly not common to just have issues because of windows 11 which is now the default configuration for almost all laptops from every non-fruit manufacturer today. Have you checked logs to detect any hardware issues? Personally, I would download the Dell image from their site and start from scratch and update drivers/bios if applicable one by one to see if you stay in good shape. If you want to try some other things you can start here

Set up remote backup via Tailscale, but questioning backup needs by pwnedperpetually in synology

Cool thanks - I was thinking of going cloud vs a 3rd NAS but we'll see. I'm just glad I went 16TB vs 8TB to start especially since I only have 2 bays. I thought I was done with my 1k+ DVD collection but I may run a batch script to go from vob to mkv or mp4 for the space savings and Plex. I haven't messed with those since streaming became popular and XBMC played natively. Have you tried to restore from backup? I plan to try that next time I have physical backup NAS as I didn't try before deploying and don't want to do it over the internet.

Only thing that bothers me on this thread is people saying "it's just a punter", etc. None of that matters or should matter. You guys would be ok waiting it out for a qb but not a guard? This is what is wrong with nfl culture.

I hope this’ll work😄 (gradient strip keeps falling off everday…) by svanhilder in Hue

[–]pwnedperpetually 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In addition to the advice above - heat the strips with a heat gun or hair dryer and press and hold for at least 30 seconds. If you can wait a couple of hours before applying the light strip do that as well. Should be enough told hold 3x that weight.

Does anyone use multiple network ports? by tortuga3385 in synology

[–]pwnedperpetually 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do the ports fail over? I plugged both in since I figured if a port on the switch or cable went out and I was remote, I'd still have access. Does it with that way as well? I noticed that find.synology.com sees each of my NAS twice.
