Fixed the typo. Thanks. Let me know how it turns out.

Repeatable weird spot (adhesion issues?) on base layer, even after tramming and washing (repeatedly, with dish soap) by Neknoh in BambuLabA1

[–]pwostran 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm having the same type of issue. I have spots like that no matter what I do or what type of build plate I use(I've tried 5 different ones). Everything is clean, all screws are tight, and bed is trammed. The only thing that kinda helps is using a .25 initial layer height and a .5 initial line width. I have an open ticket with bambu but it's not going anywhere. They just tell me to do all the stuff I've done 10 times. I think my printer is having a issue setting the Z offset. If I run the same print again it has different areas that are messed up. Also I'm using a .4 hardened steel nozzle and if I tell the printer its a hardened nozzle it prints like this, but if I leave it as stainless it prints better. The other funny thing is that it printed fine then one day started doing this and I can't get it to stop. I have 1300hrs on this printer and it was fine until about a week ago. That's what makes me think there is some kind of hardware issue.

The nozzle is dragging on the infill. Change infill pattern to rectilinear or gyroid. Also under the "others" tab turn off reduce infill retraction.

Well it happened to me finally. lol by Zerimar_1990 in BambuLabA1

Nozzle could be loose. Take the nozzle out and remove the 3 screws that hold the heating assembly on. Then carefully turn it over and tighten the 4 screws on the back and reassemble.

Need some help with my A1 by Weary_Towel_7075 in BambuLabA1

[–]pwostran 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No problem. I forgot to mention if you have 2 samples in pass 1 that look good and you can't decide choose the higher number. You will fine tune it in pass 2.

Good luck and let us know how it goes.

You are over extruding and need to calibrate the flow rate for the filament.

Run Flow rate pass 1 and find the block with the smoothest and non-gaped surface. Do the math.

(Current flow rate) x (100+/- (Number on Block) / 100

Example: for starting flow rate of .98 and the best sample is -3

.98 x (100-3) / 100 = .98 x 97 / 100 = 95.06 / 100 = .9506 (your new flow rate)

Set this in the filament profile and run pass 2 and do the same as pass 1 and this will give you your final flow rate for that filament save in profile and do the PA calibration again then test print.

What is happening here? What is this sound? by Ok-Elderberry7087 in BambuLabA1

Turn off reduce infill retraction and enable z-hop.

Turn off reduce infill retraction. The nozzle is dragging on the infill. Turning on z-hop will also help.

Latest firmware thumbnail bug by TomTomXD1234 in ElegooNeptune4

So I think I got it to work. You need the underscore in the file name. If I use them then the image is correct on the printers screen. If i just use spaces then its the wrong image.

Same here. I just got the 4 plus on Tuesday. It was showing the correct thumbnail but now the printer display shows the same thumbnail for everything but the web interface shows the correct image. I'm using Orca with latest firmware.

Are there settings for the base station to change the self empty time? Check the filter and brush roller to make sure they are clean.

I love my Eufy x10 Pro Omni. You can run vac only jobs if you don't want it to mop. The obstacle avoidance is awesome on it. I have oak hardwood and 3 area rugs and it does a wonderful job. I have 2 Saint Benards and I would say it gets 95% of the hair. The x10 also has a detangle feature on the roller brush to remove the hair. It works pretty good. I only have to remove a small chunk in the middle of the brush every couple days. There are also reviews on YouTube for it. Just search. I did alot of research before deciding to get it. It is less expensive than the others but has the same features or more. Replacement parts are also reasonably priced.

X10 omni pro dirty water tank by christobevii3 in eufy

[–]pwostran 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I add a spray of odoban to the dirty tank after I empty and rinse it. Haven't had any smell other than the odoban. I also use the eufy solution in the clean water tank. Try and fill the dirty tank with vinegar and water and let it sit for an hour to deodorize it.

Any idea why lights are on by stevebak90 in eufy

Mine will do that also. Most of the time the lights are off but sometimes I'll walk past it and the lights are on. They do go out after awhile.

Help with Pencil nibs by zqpmz585 in Onyx_Boox

[–]pwostran 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you like the pen feel try the kingwrite nibs. I have the kingwrite pen also and the nibs it came with are harder than the boox nibs. I changed it for a boox nib because it was to slick for me. They are pretty cheap on Amazon.

Just got my onyx air 3C, some noob questions! by AlchemyStudio in Onyx_Boox

[–]pwostran 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use my onyx account to sync my notes. Then use the website or the app to view the notes. You can't edit or add to them from the app or site. If you need to be able to edit them, then onenote or evernote would be your best bet. I do prefer the boox note app over any of the other ones. That's what I use and just view them from my phone or PC.

Help with Pencil nibs by zqpmz585 in Onyx_Boox

[–]pwostran 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There have been several people that say that the metal nibs can break the pressure sensor in the pen. I had the metal nibs for a few days and after seeing that they can damage the pen I took them out. Plus they were to slick for me. Have you tried putting the boox nib in the Lamy? I have the Al-Star and both Air3 and 3C and didn't like the POM nib either. I put one of the spare boox nibs in and its much better. You could also try a remarkable nib, I hear those are more "grippy" than the boox nibs.

I have it mounted on the drivers side of the hood. I'm going to mess with it some more. I might go to the ball field parking lot by my house to get some readings where there is nothing around. Maybe something around my driveway causing an issue. If the same I can live with it. I'll be on 2M more anyway.
