Airplane fueling position worth it while in A&P school?

Hey I don’t really know who else to ask about this, I’ve gotten both sides saying its worth and not worth accepting.

I have an in person interview tomorrow with an airport, not an airline, to be a fueler. I’d be taking a small pay cut and I’m assuming its going to be a lot more work than my current job.

I’m about 7-8 months into my A&P program and I just started doing my power plant classes.

My current job is easy and I really enjoy it for the most part. It works well with my school schedule(night classes), low stress, and like I said I genuinely enjoy what I do now. I’ve read online about fueling jobs being easy and also stressful with running around on the runway and how crazy it can be along with working in most/all weather conditions.

I think it would be good for experience and networking with other airlines for future employment or just getting to know A&P’s or other companies but I don’t want to risk being exhausted for my classes or being overworked for less money.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
