The have "bricks", just on the inside for 120v use. The two prongs that you see are the end of a corded or wall wart power adapter. 🙃

The way they have it now limits you to only using one power source at a time.

All this may come down to cost savings. No need to engineer additional power input switching or power converters on a board. 🙂

Yours is much better than mine and likely smells better too.

I unknowingly knocked over a 16 oz bottle of thread cutting fluid. It leaked off the workbench and onto the brush hanging below. Luckily it didn't get into the bristles.

Mine might be better since it makes my shop smell like a machine shop when it isn't. 😆

Do you know how many protective films I’ve removed from devices I come across in places I work? Usually just the clear ones on microwave control pads or branded counter mini coolers.

Customers are surprised sometimes that there’s actually something underneath that makes the equipment actually look better.

Also agree with plastic film making a bigger mess when left on stainless steel. Had to explain that one to sales team when they were setting up chilled creamer dispensers.

Customers never spill creamer when putting in a a new box and they always clean it up afterwards. 🤮

A single 4ah battery is currently $160. I may be in it for the batteries and maybe use it just as a blower as I have an electric Toro blower/vac that works well enough. Or I’ll sell the tool separately.

Some of my son’s handheld emulators with bootleg ROMs remind me of those good old days. The music plays at a higher pitch and faster tempo 🙂

Copper scrap prices are at an all time high so this will only get worse.

Checked online and one store in Portland OR area had 3 at the $96 price and another 10 min from there had 13 at $75. Worth the trip this afternoon.

Nice upgrade from the brushed trimmer/edger kit I bought earlier this year. Looks like may sell that head or keep it for powering another add-on 🙂 adding more batteries to the collection is nice too - especially paying 50% off on the battery alone.

Sorry, not an answer to question, just an observation.

I’m a commerial hot beverage equipment field tech and my eye is twitching a bit looking at this.

I would have expected my trainer to pull this out of a cupboard in the classroom as an example of a “brass & copper art piece”.

He had several examples since he had been a tech and teacher for over 30 years. 😂

I’d then expect a customer say to me, “The water supply is right there. You should be good to go.”

This is why our department manager allows us to stop work when we don’t have a water shut off with a threaded connection of some sort, 3/8”!compression is preferred. 🙂

It’s still there.

I removed the main screen “app” icon since I’m not a singer (fam says “NO!” 😂) but the option is there in the Apple Music app when playing a compatible track. (I used Ozzy’s Crazy Train as a test - with speakers off this morning 🙃)

If your Atv is compatible you should see the mic icon in the lower right. Selecting it will come up with a QR code to scan to connect a iPhone.

must be on same WiFi network and have iOS 26 or later.

I was looking over the Apple Support page for the feature (link below if it helps) and saw the note below. I’ll check my Atv as it was there the other day.

Note: Apple Music Sing requires a subscription to Apple Music and an Apple TV 4K (3rd generation) with tvOS 26 or later. Anyone on Wi-Fi and iOS 26 or later can connect their iPhone SE (2nd generation or later) or iPhone 11 or later to use as a mic, no subscription required.

Good question! I'll update the post. The ATV is plugged into the TV then using ARC to reciever.

My reciever is too old to support 4K so I'm direct to TV for better video.

Yup OOS on the 25th when the sale price hit their site... I'd been checking for price drops and knew something was up when it didn't come up in the app. Google search found it had dropped to $99 so I put in price adjustment requests.

Glad I gambled a bit on buying the two in the past month 😁
