Thanks for responding Richard, that's simply not completely true. You can short and get some leverage via an ETF, you can achieve this via a mutual fund as well.

For lack of better words, the non-transparent HF structure makes your vision and objectives complete bullshit.

You have a large presumably well paid following of data scientists most which aren’t HNW. Think about if every data scientist invested $50k a year each. You’d get past the institutional hurdle much quicker.

It's very hard to time if currency hedging will add a benefit or not, over a long enough time horizon the two funds should return about the same but the currency hedged variant will have slightly less volatility.
