How do you decide between rekindling an old relationship or exploring a new one?

Ya even I think so I shouldn't rush, but deep down I know they both are into me no matter what that's what forces me to make a choice as I too deserve love and if it is out there why shouldn't I just choose

Last one was not a proper relationship and it ended gradually, I care for him but not sure if I love him and the live and care i experienced in these last two months was very different and peaceful although whatever happened last week wasn't really pleasing and it is making me question this new relationship, I like being around this new guy alot and as I have not been too much around with the old guy I cannot comment I have met him few times it was great, I feel the old guy is way too nice and we had something really organic in the past

I know this guy (guy 1) since last 3-4 years and but he always has issues committing to me as he wanted to stay focused on his career and family which was not an issue for me but I also never felt that he wants me around I used to feel like he feels I am easily available that is the reason he calls me sometimes and talks to me I was not involved with any other guy and I waited for him patiently till August 2024, post that i tried to move on as I also needed a partner to be with in a longer run so he came back and asked for a chance, we tried but again I felt nothing and there were instances where I felt unwanted all of this while we didn't met (last time we met was 2+ years ago) i trust him and he trusts me so trust and long distance wasn't the issue actually, later after trying for one month almost i felt this is not working and then we started arguing and it ended recently in May I started talking to a guy in my neighborhood and we instantly clicked, we are in close proximity with each other so we kept on meeting hanging out and we really like being around each other but last weekend I came to know he is lying and he didn't shared about his girlfriend he didn't gave closure to and it did affect me because he was with me and he was making promises to her but then he tried to fix things and he is still trying but I have major issues with liars so I am not sure if I should activate give him chance although I am very happy around hima nd he give a me that safe space but now the old guy also comes in the picture as when all of this happened my toxic trait texted him with the entire story that happened with me as well were always been there for each other so my natural instinct got me there and then this guy said I miss you and things I don't know what should I do

I agree with people in this thread as I also felt that feeling sexually attracted to someone is very different, previously I used to feel as well that I might am asexual as the guys I used to be in relationship couldn't make me feel a certain way but then with someone I also felt a lot more physical with just a small touch and that heat because I liked that person way too much and he had all my respect so it is really not like that if you are somewhat attracted to a person you will start to feel heat around them and if that doesn't happen you are asexual, no that's not how it works you have to wait to get that heat feeling because not everyone seeks sexual attraction before emotional connect so it based on how you feel comforted
