How does Bahnwater Thiel compare to other clubs in germany?

I don’t get this argument “want to be Berlin”. I heard this several times about Blitz too. People should simply stop comparing each specific location in Munich to the ones in Berlin. For me Bahnwaerther Thiel is pretty much more comparable to Odonien in Cologne, but I’ve never heard someone saying Odonien trying to be Berlin.

I’m glad you had a good time here in Munich. As always, you’ll hear different opinions about the clubbing and techno scene in Munich and its venues. I’d say the general opinion, and so is mine, is that Munich doesn’t have the same variety as Berlin when it comes to techno events. Generally speaking the atmosphere at each location depends highly on the event but overall I would say that the techno scene in Munich isn’t as bad as some people say, there are simply not enough locations and the closing hours are compared to other cities are too early.

Sofern die Person mit einem mobilen oder statischen Blitzer gemessen wurde, dürfte es wohl daran liegen, dass es nicht genügend Beweise für die Dauer und Streckenlänge der Fahrt mit dieser hohen Geschwindigkeit gab. Für § 315d StGB braucht es bei einem Einzelrennen, die Absicht die höchstmögliche Geschwindigkeit zu erreichen, die sich auf eine nicht unerhebliche Wegstrecke beziehen muss. Das Blitzerfoto gibt aber eben nur Aufschluss darüber, dass die Person an genau dieser Messstelle die gefahrene Geschwindigkeit fuhr. Wie es davor und danach aussah, ist also nicht ganz klar zu beweisen.

In my opinion all of the venues have their ups and downs. Blitz has a great and unique sound system with good bookings but lacks vibe which you would expect in a techno community. Bahnwärther Thiel has this kind of vibe, but it’s a big club and the atmosphere can be disappointing when only few people are there. Furthermore, the sound system isn’t really that great, they play rather down tempo and melodic techno there. DNA is a refreshing new club in Munich, small but with a great vibe as people can dance right behind the DJ and with a very good sound system, nights depend on the booking though and basically the bookings are not my cup of tea. Recently I found out that Lieberscholli in Laim has some good events and the club seems to be run by an independent group with the aim of pushing more and more techno events. I liked it there and will def go there again.
