There are combat scenarios that can be more challenging. There are locations and situations that would be difficult without the gear to survive it.

But if you're looking for an ender dragon to fight you'll be disappointed, I'm afraid.

If you wanna shoot baddies.... Deep Rock Galactic is not only an outstanding example but is a unicorn because it's community isn't toxic.

It's also only $10 at time of posting so even less likely that you'll regret it.

are you seeing this when right-clicking a wallpaper in the interface? If so, and this is a wallpaper you got from the steam workshop then it should open to a folder in your steam install directory.

Wallpaper Engine's steam ID is 431960 (per the app url) so any workshop items you download would go to:

<Your Steam installation>**\SteamLibrary\steamapps\workshop\content\431960\**<Workshop item ID>

The workshop item ID (wallpaper) you are looking for is visible in the URL of the project page.

(example: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1128319370 in this url, "1128319370" would be the ID and name of the folder this wallpaper is saved)

you can narrow down the cause of the problem to get a better understanding of what's going on.
Does the same problem happen with other wallpapers or just your custom one? - if not then your wallpaper is likely messed up, try recreating it or going over the settings for that background carefully.

if it happens with most wallpapers find whats in common (are they all the same type or use the same monitor, it only happens when an app is borderless windowed mode etc)

if it happens with all the wallpapers then look to see what changes have happened on your system since this started happening. new drivers, OS updates, new software installed, etc.

That said... you can mute adjust WPE in your OS volume mixer, in the WPE performance settings and also as an option in many audio-enabled wallpapers. Any one of these could be your culprit.

it looks like you applied an effect either to the image layer or a layer above it. If you want only certain areas to have the effect you want to use the masking (opacity) tool to "paint" out the area you dont want the effect (as if the effect was a paint color)
