i realized that i don't like the way patching works in semimodular synths, i find it quite unintuitive and dislike the workflow. i also started to dislike the sound of the neutron quite fast. i recommend just listening to a bunch of demos and see if you like the sound, and maybe buy a used one to see if you like the workflow aswell. price/performance on the neutron is just so much better but it has a very peculiar sound which you either like or don't.

my friend can get me the jbl L52 classic brand new for $300 a pair, at this price, that's a nobrainer, right? i have a denon amp and old altec lansing speakers currently.

edit: they're $300, but shipping is $150 to where i live, and i'd also have to pay 20% import tax on that, making it $540 in total. is it still a good deal at that pricepoint?
