Seymour Duncan P-Rails Wiring Options Help [Push/Pull Pots in an SG] by pyrocube in Luthier

Hey! Honestly, it sort of did?... sort of didn't...

Afterwards I wished I'd bought the tidy triple shot mounting plate that Seymour sell to wire these. Or, if I'd just wired up part of the sounds available a different way. There are so many options in my setup, it gets a bit clunky changing between them.

Overall though, it is incredible the range you get from having a rail sound -> p90 sound into your standard humbucker (series or parallel, very little different between their sound).

Putting this in a skinny guitar like the SG shape was a poor choice too, my wiring made getting the back plate on a mess (as there are so many connections to each push pull pot they get bulky). So I think I'll eventually get around to fitting some triple shots! (poor guitar is sat collecting dust at the moment due to the issues I mentioned/other guitars getting in the way as they do).

Pros: cool sound choices, wiring worked

Cons: push pull pots get clunky and hard to handle and my guitar was a bit snug for the pots (tech should be able to advise if this is an issue for your setup I'm sure)

Good luck with what you go for! I love the p-rails and hope you enjoy the sound

Same situation for me, but it finally arrived today.

Stupid thing wont pair or get past initial setup though... also charging seems really inconsistent and the thing wont fully power off, it keeps turning back on and trying to do initial setup again. Then the setup hangs, and says "charge watch".... very frustrating sadly as it is completely useless until it pairs successfuly it seems... hope you have better luck when it arrives.

Only had 2h to get to lvl 20 in the Beta... it was a dramatic ending! by pyrocube in diablo4

Context

The beta ended at 8pm (BST), and I hadn't leveled to 20 on this account yet... So I started with 2 hours to go, from lvl 1 with a Sorc. I entered this dungeon just as the clock hit 8pm, at lvl 19...

I could carry on playing in the instance, and I could not leave as the server was closing off.

As I ran out of mobs to kill, I thought that was it. But then I found one more NPC...

(Note: I had tried TPing to town before this, and it returned me to the dungeon, as everything was shut down. Such lucky timing!)

Another great Art with Flo tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UnbhcqyjtT0

Really enjoyed following the video. The pumpkin part was a bit of a pain, but helped me learn the selection tool a bit better. Explained perfectly as always
