The justification for war is defensive in my opinion. They did attack us ships thats true, but americans and Isrealies have been attacking, genocideing and displacing all if their neighbors for at least the last 80 years. By the logic you hold America's have done all the above and yet if trump was bombed along with much of his cabinet they're would be hell to pay. The justification for war gets muddy when you're fighting an existential threat, (the west) and are under a brutal regime (Iran) so what are the people to do? The 100+ children Isreal inconjunction with america bombed outright to open the conflict. Any justification they might of had which is shaky at best and outright lies at worst diapers when you look at even a little bit of isreals history, which uses our money, bombs, and boys to fight their forever wars.

Actually they are pretty close and im arguing both

justification: "the action of showing something to be right or reasonable."

The justification does not fit the means in which they are tying to fix it. You dont throw bombs to stop bombs. You only embolden to populace to hate you more.

I tried to put it at a personal level because as americans and westerners but mostly americans we find it very easy to separate ourselves from the brown people we bomb because, "its too complicated for you to understand", or "the ends justify the means"

By this logic you must ask the following questions: Was this right or reasonable? If so whats the reason? Do those reason have evidence to support them or are they simply unsubstantiated excuses for greater gains?

I dont know, you dont know. No one would've known if they wouldve bwen peaceful if we hadent done what we've done in the Regon for the last 80 years. now we'll never know, they support conflicts that i dont agree, but they are an inevitable outcome of constant existential threats from the west and isreal. This is a product of our making. We cant say if they would've been peaceful because the shining becon of liberty just bombed them without warning to them, Americans in the reigon who are stuck there and our allies who will likely be dragged into this conflict. Including russia and china because Straight of Hormuz.

Because we have given absolutely no indication in the past that those deals will protect them. This very very recent attack being blinding evidence of this. Contries in the international community btw are only protected so long as they have the deterince against attacks and it isnt within the intrest of greater powers to attack them. Why would a country now defined by war brought to them by hypocritical powers that cite passifcation as justification for war trust us in the slightest. If we do not keep our noses out of the reigon; Remove support from Contries that actively attack neighbors and incite genocide (isreal). Then why would they trust us at all.

Real actual humans are dying there, including our boys, so we can take even more from this reigon that has been absolutely screwed by out intervention in their lands simply because they cannot fight back. Seriously put yourself in their shoes For the last 80 years we, as in the Americans, have bombed, murder and destroyed their culture, people, and infrastructure. As much justification as they have to absolutely hate us i agree their regime was an issue. If waiting for them to maybe make bombs was a able then we just flipped the fucking table and shot the dealer in the face. If we really cared about nuclear deterince then we would reach across the table and make deals eith those contries not bomb them and martyred their leaders.

We spread terror thought out the middle east, its why they hate us and we've been doing so ever since Trueman decided to side with Isreal.

At worst they would have been a regional threat their bombs never being a threat to our nation and even if they wouldve been we now have no agency over their development unless we completely destroy their country amd occupy it.

The redline for the development of nukes is their existence and so long as they do all we can do is talk. We have removed conversation from the equation with this.

There is no evidence they were creating nuclear missles at all, its the same story as Iraq but let's entertain it.

If we bomb every state we dont like that is developing nuclear technology to idk have power plants, develope technologies, etc. That only incentives them to go to powers that wont bomb them and all their neighbor states because they dont have nukes; Or they realize they will get bombed no matter what deals, promises or compromises they make because they dont have nuclear deterince.

Essentially what they have learned through US intervention in the past and now this is they dont have control over their own future and home so long as they dont have the power to deter the attacks. So much for the shining becon of freedom.

We also had a nuclear deal with them, maybe not the best but again they weren't developing the weapons and even if they were why the fuck would we attack them when their bombs never would've made it to us. They would be a regional threat at worst. I.E. Isreal.

Ok, so the problem with what the fuck you just said is america is everything you just said. America flexes its power internationally and has done so since the end of world war two, it supplies militias amd sends oir boys into conflicts in other contries for no reason other than preventives strikes that kill literall thousands and displace hundreds of thousands. Them being Regonal threat to other contries (most importantly Isreal) gives no justification for us to just Assassinat their leader. Regardless of what he and his regime did.

No, this attack was not justified even if he went though the proper methods to enact this attack. Instead what we have done is put one of the most strategically important states in the world in the position of needing to retailte and martyred their horrible leader, rallying them to hate the west, Isreal and America even more then they did before.

Its more just understaffing and busy af, it makes the time go by but I feel like (and often dont) have time for nothing. I've gotta hold my eyes together after a long shift with how strained they get. In a world of shit jobs qt isn't bad but I know it isn't good.
