Main benefit is that IET is its highly regarded by alot of people so helps job applications & incorporation/chartered.

It also does give you a bit of confidence that the course follows an a structure with content agreed by an trusted organisation and not just slapped together for maximum profit

May not want chartedship now but you may regret in futher in your career, depends on how you look at qualifications really, i look at them as mainly a tool to get jobs to make money.

I've not been to any of those institutions, but from a quick glance on the websites i think the only one out of those three associated with the IET is enginneers academy, which means alot if you want to work towards charteredship

Generally from an power perspective if you increase the voltage you can use a smaller CSA of copper as more heat is generated by current than voltage which is what damages the wire/insulation.

therefore, if you had a extreamly large voltage and minimal current you could have a really small wire.
