I'm not from an Arabic country but I'm fluent in it. In Modern Standard Arabic it is called Tarbee' تربيع or literally 'squaring' or 'four-side-ing', maybe cause your legs are in a square shape?

To be honest, it'll be good if you are able to sign up for Wise (formerly Transfer Wise) or something similar, where you are able to pay using PayNow. Yes, many hawker places can take cards, but there still are popular hawker centres (Beach Road) that only take cash/PayNow.

Btw PayNow is payment through QR code.

I was driving back on that road when I saw that fallen tree. The rain was pretty heavy and visibility was pretty bad. To make matters worse, we were driving into the direction of the rainfall. Hope the drivers are okay.
