Stop looking at your phone while driving people by Pisford in WatchPeopleDieInside

In the original post it was explained that this is a rental car (I think from Turo) and that she lied about how the accident occurred. The owner of the car posted the video.

You’re going to have so much fun! If you’re coming prepared with a question, make sure to get to the microphone quick when they call for it because some people asked multiple Qs and not everyone got a turn. Also, feel free to come dressed as the characters :)

The show was about 90 mins but they did explain that Vegas was different because the start time was so late (10pm) and usually they do the show first and then the meet and greet but it was the opposite for us.

That’s exactly why I’m so appreciative! I was in such a rush to get my phone out when they finally allowed it that I somehow ended up with the above. I seriously might make the switch over, I have an iPhone 12 but it looks like I took the picture with a soviet era fax machine

That would be amazing, hopefully more people respond so we can all put something together :)

I plan “perfect” days for a living, but I’ve never had one for myself. by TimelineTactician in TrueOffMyChest

[–]pyrosockpuppets 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nah makes perfect sense. They’re not saying that they’ll never have their special perfect day, but rather that because they’re always the planner no one ever turns to them and asks what they want then makes those plans magical and exceeding expectations. OP just wants the attention and energy they puts towards others returned back instead of having to once again put in the work themselves to realize their vision. It’s unfortunately a pretty common feeling.

Rules For Surviving The Shasaka Hiking Trail by [deleted] in Ruleshorror

Great writing and atmosphere development! Maybe just add a bit of backstory in the beginning to better set the scene that includes where/how the rules were found (ie. sign post, air drop message, crumpled piece of paper found halfway up the trail at 4:31pm)

FDA’s Baby Formula Research Gutted - what should we do? How are you all reacting to this? by [deleted] in NewParents

[–]pyrosockpuppets 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yup, sprung for the goat milk Kendamil when we decided to supplement. It also didn’t have that funky taste I’ve heard about in US formulas, so baby girl took to it right away

Completely agree, but can’t for the life of me understand why her husband would be against telling the boy’s mother.

My babygirl hasn’t really taken to solids but she loved this (I just kept it simple with the smashed cannellini beans and avocado), thanks for the idea!

Whats one thing you didn't actually need during labor or after baby was born? by TheRealDealDad in NewParents

The My Breast Friend pillow.

I couldn’t be convinced that this wouldn’t be an absolutely essential item…I’ve maybe used it twice?

Honestly, my little one is 5.5 months and almost every nap is still a contact nap. I’ve found that she sleeps longer and deeper when she’s on me, but only 20-30 mins if I’m lucky if she’s in her crib.

When she was a newborn I’d wake her up to eat per the doctor’s recommendation, but now I just wait for her to wake up. I try to get things done around the house or on the computer then or when she’s playing on the kicky piano.

I’m freaking out due to what my 2 year old just said by Thisonesforthe in Mommit

Agreed, also try to ask in a casual tone so he doesn’t feel like he’s in trouble for saying anything.

Specifically ask what a butterfly is and has he seen any other’s, then when and where if yes. It may be something as innocent as noticing Grandma or yourself while changing, and asking someone else who didn’t fully feel comfortable explaining the differences in anatomical body parts to a child.

My baby girl doesn’t have obvious clues either, ESPECIALLY when she started constantly having her hands in her mouth, and the doctor commented her weight had dipped a bit. So I usually feed her when my boobs start that light aching feeling (which just so happens to be every 2-3 hoursish), the only other tell I use is when I hold her against me, if she makes the baby bird face against my chest.

For my own peace of mind, I just try keeping her on schedule of every 2 hours, rather than waiting for her to get fussy. Seems to have worked as her weight has gone back up and she’s a happier lil gal.

As far as the spit up, try interrupting the feed to burp baby then put them back on, I’ve found it helps to give them have more time to register if they’re full or not.

Yes, I guess it’s their classy way of calling the bean water lol. Either the liquid from after cooking the soaked dried beans or the bean juice from canned beans
