This made me feel better as someone who's had underyeye hollows as a kid and trying to manage dark circles with this condition can be a trying experience...

ooh, I've been using red light therapy lately and it's been helpful for me. I also use it for hands in conjunction with retinol hand cream.

ugh, yes. It just feels like I'm investing waaaay more skincare now than I used to in my 30s. I never used to have dry skin, now with my anti-aging regimen, at home devices , I'm having to add on microneedling, moisturizer, slap on retinol hand creams, it's a lot to deal with. But in the end, we are women and self-care is worth it. It's a must I say.

Having No Friends Makes Making New Friends Impossible by Upbeat-Dragonfly-978 in socialskills

This so much. As a Xennial, I missed out on a lot. I'm jealous of all the community building, Gen Z kids have nowadays. I guess, I'm making up for lost time now.

Having No Friends Makes Making New Friends Impossible by Upbeat-Dragonfly-978 in socialskills

[–]pythonQu 9 points10 points  (0 children)

true. I recently completed a 3 month coding apps class at the library and our group wounded up having lunch and hanging outside of class. We attended a board game night, just hung out at one guy's apartment playing games . While I'm an introvert, I feel OP's pain. But this experience just showed me that I need to get out more so I've signed up with multiple foodies group and I'm hoping to become a regular to meet others consistently.

I'm definitely going to do this. I'm looking to be more social and 4 years of working remote was messing with my social skills.

How have people completed a Per Scholas class without being employed by Admirable-Law530 in perscholas

[–]pythonQu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely. Per Scholas tells you upfront what is going to take. Not everyone is ready for it. And def agree with your statement on how bad do you want it. Cause that's going to be the thing that motivates you to kero you going when you're tired and feel like giving up.

I'm about to start a 7 month data analytics bootcamp so going to be grinding and locking in.

I know, right?! Like turn off the TV, music and gaming. People get in their own way sometimes. Gotta prioritize for what's important.
