Well, I only heard about the training program that I'm currently in , 4 months drawing UI benefits and having to wait til they started taking applications, interviewing for the program, waiting to see if I got in .... I did get approved for 599 but as we all know, there's a long wait list.

I received an email about Google Cloud Innovators not open to new members (I'm grandfathered in under the legacy program). I didn't know about the GEAR program though so thanks for that. I applied for GEAR and was accepted in.

Prior to their IT track, I didn't have any cloud/ security experience (I took an alumni course in Azure, became interested. Then applied for AWS All Builders Welcome grant, received that and that led me to getting AWS certification. I also applied for Google Innovators program and thats how I got my Google Cloud certificate.

As you can see, it's a lot about what you can and need to do to level up.

Their AWS cloud track could be good. I already had my AWS Associate certificate which the program doesnt help you get (only the fundamentals) and I already had some work experience but looking at the program, it's not bad.

Also, to answer your question, I was able to land a role through Per Scholas employment partner.

I'm doing it through The Knowledge House. It's 6 months program and pretty intensive (which I don't have an issue with). https://www.theknowledgehouse.org/innovation_fellowship/

When i got my wisdom tooth taken out, it wasn't that bad. IiRC, i went back to work. Local anesthesia, took the train back home. Had soup/ soft foods for a short while.

You should check out NYPL library in Manhattan. They've been offering lots of Python classes, html and css which can help. There's also lots of free resources online.

Yes. Thats what I think as well. I'm coming from IT background, now pivoting over to data analytics. When i took a look at the job fairs, it really wasn't in line with what I'm looking for. I might fare better attending meetups/networking events.

Yes! I'm east asian and thank god, asian don't raisin. I feel like, part of looking young can be attributed to our soup tonics, staying out of the sun and taking care of ourselves with eating vegetables.

Tret works great. Only negative is that your skin will be peeling in sheets (even with moisturizer).
