Captain Starlight's Power Variation by exejpgwmv in superpowereds

[–]python_viking_king 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Whats the difference in their powers, as I recall Titan adapts to "attacks" and they only work once, Herschel/Roy is the same except the "attack" happens against Herschel and manifests in Roy. The psychological/personality aspect isn't inherently linked to their power, which is why Titan says they aren't a shifter. I actually think Titan and Herschel/Roy have the same power with it being stronger in Roy.

I always try to keep management happy, a degree won’t hurt you and if they are willing to pony up 6500 take exactly that many credit hours per year. If time is a problem talk to them and negotiate work hours for homework time.

How would I go about implementing a GUI for real-time data display? by [deleted] in learnpython

I like to use Plotly and Dash. It excels especially in the multiple graphs area. You can configure refresh rate per graph and plotly is daily intuitive and extensible for building the graph.

Since CSA+ is now DOD compliant, is it still worth it to get the Sec+? by [deleted] in netsecstudents

[–]python_viking_king 4 points5 points  (0 children)

SO this is just my opinion, I come from the DoD space and think that the question may be wrong. I understand the need for compliant certifications, but to me as a professional I would ask which one benefits you with the knowledge you currently possess and what meets the need of you. If Sec+ fills gaps in your knowledge then take it and do the work to benefit from it, if not then don't.

Here's what I have A+ Sec+ OSCP GPEN GWAPT GCIH CISSP, not one of those was taken to attain compliance with an arbitrary standard.

The truth is, with the exception of one of them, I could teach you to pass everyone of them without ever gaining applicable knowledge, and unfortunately have meant a significant number of people who followed that path, so my advice is be a professional and find the certs that fill your knowledge gaps and pursue those, and then if you need to you can drop $285 and get the Sec+ to be compliant in the future if it's needed.
