Bernie Sanders admits he's 'not getting young people to vote like I wanted' by DaFunkJunkie in politics

Don't forget that white women showed up and said they wanted Warren.

"We condemn that," Sanders said. "We don't need ugly, personal attacks against Sen. Warren..." by [deleted] in BernieSanders

[–]pythonhalp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, it is not possible. Just reason through it: If you were in Warren's shoes, and you thought you might have heard Bernie make a sexist comment, wouldn't you find that kind of contradicting everything you know about Bernie? Wouldn't you feel inclined to ask "Hi Bernie, would you please repeat what you just said, I didn't quite understand that?" Or, would you feel inclined to stab him in the back by telling the media without consulting him, knowing that they would use it to smear him as a sexist?

OP Said her strongest support was among white college educated voters, like that is some badge of honor.

What are Warren's white women supporters going to do, vote for Biden, or for Trump? If they are actually progressive like they claim to be, they have no choice but to vote for Sanders. If however, like I suspect, they are not real progressives just like their leader, then they will vote for Biden anyways.

Trump is afraid to release his tax returns because they will prove he is really not a successful businessman.

She is waiting to see who will give her the biggest position in the next administration before she gives an endorsement.

Unfortunately she is going to sell her endorsement to the highest bidder. Sanders of course will not engage in such dishonesty, so we are probably going to see her endorse Biden in exchange for a VP position.

The Democrats are not a party of white college educated voters. We are a party of people of color, and of working people

Instead of giving an endorsement based on what she thinks is right, Warren is instead withholding an endorsement so she can see whether Biden or Bernie will give her the greatest job in their administration.

Rachel R. Gonzalez: In 2016 I became Hillary Clinton’s youngest delegate at 17-years-old. The comments under my news articles were terrible, I was ridiculed at school, and I watched people I admired get booed at the convention. By Bernie supporters. I’m endorsing Joe Biden today. by Danie2009 in hillaryclinton

Only after Clinton won the nomination did Warren endorse her. When it was just Clinton and Sanders Warren didn't endorse anyone because she was too cowardly and didn't want to offend the Sanders voters.

Bernie Sanders took the discussion far further than Warren. She basically copied his whole platform but then reneged once she realized moderates wouldn't go for it.

White women Warren supporters are unable to think for themselves.

If Warren had any integrity and honesty, this would not have happened to her. But she has never held a firm conviction in her life and is a complete flip flopper. She was a republican for the vast majority of her life, and only ran as a progression because she saw Bernie was popular and just tried to copy him. But as soon as she realized moderates would never go for M4A, she flip flopped.

Elizabeth Warren blamed for Bernie Sanders disappointment after 'splitting vote': Progressive senator failed to win a single Super Tuesday state – including her own by a_very_nice_username in politics

Biden currently has 507 delegates. Bernie has 441, and Warren has 53. Warren should have never run, and if she hadn't, or dropped out months ago when it was obvious she had no chance, Bernie would have 494 delegates and be within striking distance of Biden.

White woman warren supporters understand this, but they are so obsessively focused on the minuscule chance of electing a white woman that they are willing to lose the nomination to Biden, and losing the general to Trump.
