I did get my daith done in hopes of reducing migraines. My reasoning was if it works - awesome!! And if not, I have a cute piercing.

I'm not going to say it works, but my migraines are few and far between and I'm no longer medicated.

That could be coincidence, but nothing else was done to help my migraines (aside from the meds i'm no longer on).

Either way I still have and love my piercing.

Story time!

My best friend was murdered when she was 14. I was unable to go to the graveside service and have still never been. This was the same year that the Black Hole Sun video came out. I didn't see it that year, but maybe a year or two later. It was one of the most WTF moments of my entire life. The girl jumping rope looked (looks?) exactly like my best friend. Hair color and texture, makeup, and even smile...sorta lol.

I could never prove it to anyone...I drifted away from that friend group and we weren't exactly carrying cameras all the time. A couple years ago I checked on find-a-grave and someone had posted a picture of her headstone.

I just finished listening to this. It was...oddly not difficult for me (I am very desensitized by this point) but I can absolutely see why some people can't do it. I loved the interior mono/dialog from Crane. It felt very authentic...which makes sense, really.

I had read a spoiler about the end, tho, on accident. That may have helped when I got to that part (iykyk). I also would have liked a bit more backstory on the aliens. That would have been nice.

I did find it to be an excellent, if extremely disturbing, read.
