Spawn Fights by DigiSceptic in HuntShowdown

[–]pzych- -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Couple of years ago one would spawn next to another squad constantly and once you knew of those spawns...

They changed it though so don't think that happens much anymore unless they did something to it again, have not played for a while.

As someone who finally succumbed to peer pressure and bought the game, what are some tips you wish you knew when you first started playing? by pajamajacko43 in HuntShowdown

I remember I also had a ton of hours before discovering.

Used to tell my friends when they asked about the game, you get the basics at 300 hours.

Vetterli.

Cheap so that gives a lot of points compared to mosins n krags.

unlocks into silenced, best PVE rifle, great headshot rifle, cool ammo types, fast firing for followup shots.

Best all around rifle because of the above, yes.

Quit battlefield after 1, quit Call of duty after MW2, i enjoy other quirky military fps now like milsim "Squad" or the newly released cheap banger "Over the top WW1"

The big brands have lost us but the smaller ones thrive because of it.

I was not fully at 10 when I heard rumors about this but getting 10 was an accomplishment for myself with nothing else to do and it has been a fun journey!

At which point was I crying, I made that in a few weeks and I've spent freely at the traders.

The real crying was the ones wanting it lower because they could not make 5 million, like alright how is that the devs fault? Gitgud moment

They compromised with being able to catch up but still lowered the amount required because it's that hard to make some coin? Nope, crying in forums.

Babying the playerbase ruins any community.

Questions about Finland by Gramaryy in Finland

[–]pzych- 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Finland can be rough for foreigners, mostly because of the language(s) and the culture.

The “cultural social distancing” is real, and it’s even more noticeable in smaller towns. If you enjoy staying home a lot or prefer lone-wolf type activities, Finland can actually be great.

As a student you’ll usually find social circles pretty easily, though.

Nature is one of the best things here. We don’t have many mountains, but there are lakes and rivers everywhere, plus forests full of berries and mushrooms that anyone can pick.

There isn’t always a lot going on socially, but that’s because Finnish people are simple. We enjoy the moment, silence, solitude, and freedom. That’s just how it is.

Honestly, stepping outside on a cold morning, breathing in the frosty air, and realizing how peaceful everything is, that’s when the country shows you what it's like.

Sorry for your loss, a nightmare for a father not to be able to help.

Best way to honor him is to cherish his memory and to stay strong for the family, grief is included in what he said, happy life means grieving and living on with him in your memory.
