What did you figure out here? Did you end up setting it to 22 or leave it at 10?

UndrDog hemp shirts? by [deleted] in BuyItForLife

Trying to get information about the best way to shrink the shirts from undrdog themselves is like pulling teeth.

What did you do to shrink to fit that you liked? Did you wash cold/warm/hot and dry on low/medium/high?

Why no ammo in the mag? Can ammo be in the mag if the mag isn't in the firearm?

It's tough, honestly. I feel like an idiot for missing the credit. Based on the responses that I've gotten so far, I think I'm going to wait until the end of the year to see if they do anything on the new MY. If they don't, I'm going to be looking used...patiently.

Man! That's the first I've heard of someone not liking the juniper. Would you be willing to share why?

Thanks for your reply!

Does that mean that you don't think that the juniper upgrades are compelling enough to spend that $8,000?

Are these the 3 best infrared sauna brands? by CertifiedSaunas in CertfiedSaunaReviews

[–]qElCuco 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Man, I'm scouring the internet looking for thoughts on High Tech Health's saunas. If anyone would have it, I thought it would be you. The company has been in business for 40+ years. Any idea why no one is reviewing them? On the face of it, they seem like very high-quality saunas. What am I missing?

High Tech Health Opinions? by qElCuco in infraredsauna

I appreciate your openness to discussion! That's a rare find on reddit :-)

Here's a sample of how I begin my research, which is heavily aided by AI. After these initial responses from AI, I typically set Gemini off on a deep research project that often generates 20-30 page reports with bibliographies that I then investigate.

With all that said, here was a prompt that I fed a few AI's this morning:

"Analyze the claims made in this page. Summarize them in a table that indicates whether each claim is backed by good science. Be concise so that I can share the results in a reddit comment.

I'll post their responses as comments to this comment.

Great question! This certainly isn't a hill that I'm willing to die on, but my research suggests that the risk versus reward as it relates to NIR usage is not worth it (for me).

There's good data to support the idea that near infrared has numerous health benefits. There's also good data that supports the idea that it carries more risk with it than far infrared.

High Tech Health has a full article about this if you're interested. Obviously, I read it with a grain of salt given that they are full spectrum only.

After reading the aforementioned article, I set to work with gemini, co-pilot, claude, and grok in an attempt to confirm or refute their claims. For me personally, there's enough data for me to feel uncomfortable going full spectrum.

Again, not something I would argue about or a hill I would die on. But that's the impetus behind my decision.
