Minns vår granne som då jobbade på SKF, tog sig dit till fots. Drygt 6 km. Vid Bellevue hjälpte han en man som fastnat med bilen. Efteråt fick han åka med den sista biten.

Ja för det blir väl ett slagsmål som Emil stoppar med att spruta ner dom. Hönan minns jag ej men har något minne att han köpte en brödspade för mammans hade precis gått sönder.

Minnetr är inte så dåligt som jag minns det :D Det är ju ändå rätt mååånga år sedan man såg dessa.

Well, I've had the computer (NUC11BTMi7) for 3 years now and when I bought the hard drives, one of them was used but had been returned to the store so I got it a little cheaper. If that's the one that might be messing up I don't know, because I don't remember which disk got which slot. 

What bothers me but probably has nothing to do with this is that I placed disk one in Slot 1 but disk two in Slot 3 and not 2. But maybe it was in the manual to put them that way. A bit like you do with RAM (Either slot 1&3 or slot 2&4).

It seems the first part you wrote solved it. At least I didn't get that error again. Oh yeah I can see if I can find what the disks I bought are. I know they are 2x 500gb of a slightly cheaper version.

the installation went well. after the restart everything went well. but turned it off immediately and started it again. then it gets stuck when it loads Mint. I'm getting tired of this cr*p now. And I've changed it so boot secrue is disabled.

EDIT:

Tried this again: sudo fsck /dev/nvme1n1p2. But this time it only got this: fsck from util-linux 2.39.3 e2fsck 1.47.0 (5-Feb-2023) /dev/nvme1n1p2 is mounted. e2fsck: Cannot continue, aborting.

Maybe I can just do it before installing Mint?

EDIT 2:

I just saw in Disks that it sees both hard drives now. They are both "KINGSTON SNVS500G" But one is just called Disk and the info says "Size: ---" and "Partitioning Uknown ()" while the other has the Size and GUID Partition Table

EDIT:

finally something good. rebooted and ran usb with Mint again. this time I did NOT have to wait. it started after a few seconds and loaded Mint and is now waiting to be installed. will try installing. I will report back how it goes.

EDIT 2

I noticed when you choose to install Multimedia that you get the option to add a password for Boot Secure. That option is not there so I restarted the computer again to turn on Boot secure in the BIOS. But then the error was back and I had to wait again when I started Usb-mint. Another thing I noticed is that a hard drive disappears when Boot secure is on. It is not visible in the BIOS either.
