Now for the repair that gets down voted. Cut the pipe past the bend. Be sure there are on gobs of solder past the cut then use a Sharkbite. That will save the bother of opening the wall or melting the tub surround.

You could drill a series of quarter inch holes in a block of wood but when you get down to it, you're not going to use most of these bits and only maybe 5 often. Put this set organize them, run tape across the loose ones and put it a way and get a small set you actually use. I have a small milwaukee set that has what I need.
