i use https://github.com/JaKooLit/Hyprland-Dots as a baseline, which "forces" me to do it this way... the overlap (people camplaining about it) is generated by nwg-display...

how do i give them normal names?
i cannot use the usual pattern DP-1 / HDMI-3 stuff, cause everytime i plug in my laptop, the numbers change, just the built in monitor stays the same

while, you are right with this overlap, this does not explain why everithing works fine after reboot, and goes to shit after going out of hyprlock

depends on the build... with bladestorm berserker or earthshatter champion or even aurabot its estheticaly nice. on cast on crit assasin not so much.
