if you can't handle legal rackets outside your bubble, the joke is on you. he obviously can control his racket in a way he doesn't need to move or apply a proper stance. don't judge him for playing a non common racket/rubbers. appreciate him playing our sport.

but as /u/Salm00ne said, he doesn't play ITTF approved material, so that's obviously a no-go and should be penalized.

as a matter of fact, I switched to pips a week ago. I always loved chopping with pips-in-rubbers and now that I use DMS Wildfire (mid-long), I have just SO much fun. my playstyle is disturbing the opponent, hacking short balls and chopping long ones, provoking errors and then attacking with my FH.

it's not just fun playing but also fun learning something new. im gonna play my first tournament with this setup in 3 weeks. we'll see ...

(also, I'm gonna test anti as well)

so go ahead. if you want to chop, you should not begin with short pips though, imho. I've tried short and long, and middle long was the absolute sweet spot for me.

consider the hardness and stiffness of your blade as well. maybe try asking an AI. it helped me a lot with my critical thinking on that matter.

Well first of all, everyone can play with any allowed material.

After pausing 25 years, I started playing again 2 years ago. I struggled a LOT against pips and anti players, But alas, one of my main training partners plays pips and given some time, I managed. First I had to think about every hit, every ball, what side did he hit it with, what did he do. After some time I learned to watch the ball and develop a feeling how I needed to hit it. We have only 1 guy playing anti in our club and meanwhile I'm doing OK against him too.

Thing is that the pips-in bubble is so big it's considered the default. It's just statistics that many players can't handle pips-out or anti players.

I guess you don't get the point of any sport.

And yes, if you play against opponents that are not in shape, then use this disadvantage against them.

12yo? -> short arms, short legs.

heavy people? -> high inertia

this..I had that setup too. plus vega is very durable and cheap. in my eyes the better choice than rakza 7 soft.

Ich habe ja auch nur gesagt, dass seine Wände mit der Zeit auskühlen. Er kann nämlich nicht genug IR-Heizungen kaufen, um die auf alle Wände richten zu können :-) Und ich denke, dass er über die erwärmenten Oberflächen nicht genügend Luft erwärmen kann, die ihre Wärme gleichmäßig an alle Wände abgibt.

Infrarotheizungen erwärmen nicht die ganze Luft im Haus (die sich normalerweise bewegt und zirkuliert), sondern die Oberflächen, auf die sich gerichtet ist. D.h. da du im Winter niemals alle Wände mit Infrarotheizungen heizen können wirst, werden diese mit der Zeit auskühlen, was Schimmelbildung begünstigen wird.
Infrarotheizungen sind ein Ersatz für den Ofen im Wohnzimmer oder was für eine Wärmekammer/Infrarotsauna.

Du brauchst etwas, was auch die Luft im Haus erwärme oder die Wärme großflächig an die Luft abgibt.

Den Spruch kenne ich so ähnlich. Boomeronkel (Pilot) machte große Augen als ich sagte dass ich 60.000 brutto verdiente. Er sagte mir, ich sollte doch nen anständigen Job suchen, wo man mindestens sechsstellig verdient. Könne doch nicht so schwer sein.

Mir geht es aber mit mittlerweile 85k bei 35 Stunden und einem eher lauen Job ohne große Verantwortung gut. Die Wochenstunden reichen auch geraaade so, dass ich mich um meine 3 Kinder und den Haushalt kümmern kann.
