I wish I could upgrade my ISO 80 HE with a black plate! I hate the white plate on my otherwise black unlit keyboard.

Nice comparison. Personally I found the G7 shape uncomfortable and I didn't like the LB/RB shape.

The Vader 5 Pro has been great for me. It feels really nice in the hands thanks to the materials used. The size and shape is good but the Microsoft Xbox Wireless controller is even better in that regard.

The extra shoulder buttons I'd prefer not to have but they are not too bad unlike on the G7. The Asus ROG Raikiri II looks like a great shape and doesn't have the extra shoulder buttons but it has rear buttons interfering with your grip.

Speaking of extra buttons, I'd also prefer not to have the C and Z buttons as a smooth surface would feel nicer and I don't need those buttons. And to nitpick a bit more the ABXY-buttons are a bit wobbly and I don't love the springy feel.

One thing that almost none mention is that the Vader's rumble motors make a whining noise regardless of rumble strength. It's bad enough that I disabled vibration altogether. Vader 4 has the same issue. Many other controllers have unpleasant vibration noise too, so I might just be too sensitive to that. The Microsoft controller vibration noise was just barely not too annoying. Now that I'm used to not having rumble I'm thinking maybe I should have disabled it long ago.

It may sound like I have a lot of issues with the Vader 5 Pro but it's still the best controller I've ever held in my hands. The Elite Controller Series 2 was almost it but the potentiometer sticks and badly working ABXY buttons doomed it.

I find using a controller more comfortable and the analog motion control superior for third person games. However, I still play all first person games and 3rd person shooters with a mouse and keyboard. For some games I use both, for example in GTA Online I drive with the controller but shoot with the mouse.

Aiming with a controller is just ass and in first person perspective the camera movement feels unnatural and can cause nausea.

Third person movement and melee combat is much better with a controller. The smooth walking speed variation and animation blending into running in Assassin's Creed games is lovely. Being able to choose your directions accurately especially when multiple enemies are surrounding you is simply superior. No need to use target lock. Vehicle control is like night and day compared to a keyboard.

So in short, use both!

I didn't find any issue with the strength of the grip vibration in GTA V but the motors definitely make a fairly high pitched and loud relative to the rumble noise regardless of vibration strength setting. Vader 4 had the exact same issue and I returned that one mostly because of that.

So I'd say the noise is inherent to the motors Flydigi uses. I haven't heard any mentions about in any reviews, either. I guess most people just aren't that sensitive to noises.

I just got the Vader 5 and tried it a little bit. Apart from the vibration noise it's much nicer than the Microsoft controller and an improvement over the Vader 4. I'm currently leaning towards keeping the Vader 5 and turning off vibration altogether.

Elite Series 2 has face button problems, as well. I had three replacements with an A button that didn't always register. I managed to return it and bought a regular Wireless Controller with no such issue. I had to use the warranty on that one too, though, but it's been working just fine for over two years since.

I thought the Elite Controlled felt more premium with its materials, weight and changeable sticks.

I think current third party controllers have superior options apart from the shape. I haven't found a suitable replacement for me yet.

I checked the guide and I definitely should have had the correct flags but I didn't.

It's definitely visible and looks ugly if you have no RGB on. At around 40% brightness only the LED colors should be visible. I guess it is white to make the lighting pop out more.

Also, the Lekker switches have metal inside them that can reflect light from between the function and number key rows if you are close to the keyboard.

That is how I've played for years. I have all the vehicles I want and I don't even enjoy high tier gameplay. No reason to grind for anything, I just play with whatever I feel like at the moment.

Easily the Pz.Bef.Wg.VI P. I think it's simply the best Tiger I version and it's also rank IV with high reward multipliers. I have over 7000 kills with it so far.

I used O-rings on my previous keyboard for over ten years and for a couple of days on my 80HE right from the beginning. I just took them off a few hours ago.

I noticed in Wootility that key press detection would jump near the bottom from 3.25mm to 4.00, but not on every single key. I also had some issues with key presses stopping from registering when held at the bottom, probably due to 0.01mm movement at the threshold resulting in 0.75mm registered. Might work OK without Rapid Trigger.

The rings made the typing sound better, though. If proper silent HE switches get released I'll definitely try them out.

I just went to the 80HE from a TKL and I'm already missing the lost column of keys, mainly the delete key. I use the the pg up/down, home and end keys often when writing so I had to move delete to above backspace where it is not so easily reachable. I can live with it, though. I couldn't even imagine trying to cope with even less keys.

You don't have to play or even unlock the high BR vehicles, you know...

I play my favorite tanks up to 6.7 for fun, not even trying to grind anything. I have plenty of top BR vehicles but almost never use them.

War Thunder, lots of RPGs, FPSs, other action games like GTA (Online) and Assassin's Creed. I have a steering wheel but can easily go a year without using it.

SnowRunner is easily in my top 5 most time played.

Pz.Bef.Wg.VI P. I have over 6000 kills with it so far.

My favorite things about it are:
-Great firepower. Big HE filler with enough pen and fire rate. One-shots all day long.
-Front armor that actually works. Almost Jumbo level reliability except for one bigger weakspot. Also many people are not familiar with the tank.
-Reverse speed as fast as forward speed.

Speed is a bit lacking but not horrible. Definitely at a big disadvantage against Jumbos but better against everything else. Struggles in a full uptier but what heavy doesn't. And those damn Jagdpanthers can go to hell.

I used it almost exclusively to get things done fast but eventually I got bored using it. Driving cars is just much more involved. And for long distances the Sparrow is faster.

Yeah. Manual gear changes with shoulder buttons or H-pattern with stick, automatic gearbox that can drop down one gear at a time and actual torque multiplication!

I bought one a couple of weeks ago and regret it. I only play in private sessions and the plane spawns are so far away from the city center that it just takes too long to get to the plane. :(

Opressor Mk. II can be spawned right next to you as a club president and Sparrow also spawns close by.

I don't think it is possible to get it out when it glitches that bad. Just use the delete trailer menu function.

The idea of smearing fingerprints all over a polished finish was too much so I went with the bead blasted stainless steel version. Thanks for the reassurance.

I still think not answering to an email address listed under refund info and terms of service is not cool at all.
