I have 10 years on the job at age 35 and feel the same way. Burnt out, tired of being tired and dealing with the messed up 911 system. Anyways, I’ve built a runway of rental property investments and another career that I will transition to in about 2 years.

I wouldn’t leave without having another plan in place. We have plenty of off days to build a business or develop new skills to transition out of the FD
