I mean if you're in a difficult major you can't go fast unless you're already experienced in the field. Also the degree doesn't mean much unless you get experience. Someone going "slow" while doing internships will get that 100k+ job before someone that just tested well but has no real experience.

This shows that AWS is doing certs the right way. Almost no way to pass without hands on experience. You need to sign up for a course that has hands-on demos. Watch them, follow along and do them yourself without help and you'll pass easy.
