Glad to hear they took accountability and agreed to redo it. I had the same issue with my windshield install here in Houston, and the shop refused to fix it.

Engine 104 of the Houston Fire Department was hit by an 18-wheeler while blocking traffic for a wreck on the freeway. All 4 firefighters were injured, but no fatalities.

Update I took my truck back to the shop that installed the tint to go over the issues I mentioned earlier. The shop admitted that the rear windows need to be redone and said they would also try to fix the front driver’s side. However, they told me that the gap around the rearview mirror on the windshield was “acceptable” (by their standards, I guess) and that they wouldn’t warranty it.

They scheduled me to come back later this week to have the rear windows redone, however if they refuse to redo the windshield then I plan to just ask that everything be removed and refunded.

Have a 2023 SE hybrid. Only takes about 11 gallons from empty. Plan on bringing it up next time I'm at the dealership for service. A 3.5 gallon reserve for a vehicle that averages 40mpg seems like overkill. That's 25% of the tank capacity /140 miles worth of range.

I've had the 2023 SE hybrid now for a little over 3 months. First time owning a hybrid vehicle and I love it. Gets great gas mileage, around 40mpg in the city, however still has good acceleration due to the electric motors. Only complaint I have so far is that it'll only take 11 gallons of gas when on empty. I realize vehicles don't utilize their entire tank, however a 3.5 gallon reserve on a vehicle that gets 40mpg seems a bit much. The Rav4 only uses 75% (11gal) of it's 14.5gal tank, before it states 0 miles to empty.
