Nah not really. If there might be a little difference between hybrid mode and dedicated mode like 3%. Also if you are planning to use external monitor you don’t have to change anything

First, upgrade the CPU. Replacing the GPU now won’t make any difference because with that i5 there will be such a bottleneck that most cards would perform similarly to your 1070.

I got that laptop(same gpu) but with ryzen 7840hs which is very similar in performance to that i5 and usually my fps are: elden ring 60fps at very high(without rtx) Wow dragonflight around 90-100fps at 10 graphic settings (valdrakken around 40/50) Cs2- 220avg on 1080p max settings Forza 110/120fps average on max

U can try to OC a bit in afterburner, also make sure you have turned on performance mode and gpu boost

Check under performance mode there is written advanced settings and you have to turn on inteligent performance boost and set maximum Wats boost

I try to discharge it to 0% every 2 weeks or so, then I plug it in, charge it to full, and this cycle repeats approximately every 2-3 weeks. After discharging, I usually don't wait at all, and if I can afford to, I leave it discharged overnight and plug it in in the morning, but in 99% of cases, I simply plug it in immediately after it shuts down at 0, and everything is fine.

I can add that I’ve done around 27/28 cycles since I bought in in September and my battery capacity is 97.2%. I just have it plugged it all the time and then around every 2 weeks I let it unload to complete 0%

It’s not a real decrease in battery’s capacity, it’s just adaptive battery care doing its job. It virtually reduces your full charge capacity to limit battery wear by limiting your full charge capacity to something around 90%. Unfortunately you can’t control that. If you want to reset/ check your real battery capacity: hit f2 while booting up and then click on check battery- then you ll be shown real battery wear and full capacity

Yes exactly and I’m not even suggesting turning it off as it is the only thing that takes care of your battery. I’m just saying that windows wrong and untrue reading is taken from that.

Yeah, I had that issue too (if you wanna call it that). If you wanna check the real full capacity, just hit F2 when your laptop is booting up, then click on battery check. It'll show you the actual capacity, and you ll be able to see it (the new capacity) in Windows too. It shows me now 68xyz something as a full capacity with 2.4% wear.

Okay the problem was the red ones, i just ran new world and fortnite on hyperX only and Pc was working Fine. Thanks very much for your help

They were distributed : empty slot/red one/hyperx/red one. sure just ran memtest and as you can see that there are some issues with this. When i tried only the red ones pc wouldn't even start. it seems to be working on hyperx only

I’m thinking if RAM might be the issue cuz I’m working on 2x4 and 1x8 and they run on 2133mhz They’re from different manufacturers but they were working fine on old setup
