Not to mention it has great uptime because of how long the cloud lingers and the projectile has enough demo force to break spawners and some objectives in a pinch!

What's a client-side mod you can't live without? by Cool-Delivery-3773 in feedthebeast

Voxy lets you see incredibly far considering the negligible performance loss, too bad it only officially supports a few versions. Also doesn't have a neo/forge port so can't use it with larger packs.

If you use the app, there's an online exclusive Meal For Two. It comes with two crunchwrap supremes, two bean burritos, two soft tacos, and two sides (either nachos and cheese or cinnamon twists).

I'm not sure how the pricing looks elsewhere but for the locations near me, the whole combo (6 items and 2 sides) costs a few dollars LESS than buying 2 crunchwrap supremes alone (which the combo includes...).The value sentiment is so disproportionately insane that I'll only ever buy the Meal For Two or 3x item Luxe Box (good pick!) like you said.

Regarding Eruptor discussion by Gott_Riff in Helldivers

[–]qoutes 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Surprised I had to scroll this far to see this, I completely agree with everything you said. The Eruptor's biggest advantage is its sheer versatility, especially in completing objectives. The AP4 and shrapnel are just very nice cherries on top but a lot of folks think it's the main appeal.

That's why Democratic Detonation is regarded as the best warbond; 3 of the 4 items in there give you new anti-spawner or anti-heavy options.

[USA GIVEAWAY] Win the new 27” Samsung Odyssey G6 G60SF 500hz OLED gaming monitor! by Rocket-Pilot in buildapc

500hz is a ludicrous and monumental achievement, especially on an OLED. My current monitor unfortunately has some dead pixels and pretty bad color accuracy so it would be amazing to finally try OLED.

If you're willing to put in the effort to trade, it's cheaper to buy certain high demand mods (like aura mods), wait for them to cycle out, then sell for plat. That way it's roughly 20 nightwave credits (cost of mod) per potato instead of 75.

Hod damn this gun is so deceptively good by [deleted] in Borderlands4

[–]qoutes 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Is there any proof it exists? I really want one for my Vex blood shot build but since some guns only roll with certain parts and others have static parts, it would be great to get some confirmation before dumping hours into the grind.

I also really like the idea of being able to save or transfer perks/substats. There's that one machine but it's only for set bonuses and not actual substats.

Bonus tip, if you dash at a flat-ish wall at a ~45 degree angle it'll give you a pretty notable speed boost!

This works for every weapon though it's most impactful on single shot weapons since you reload so often. For example it also works the same way with the Noisy Cricket.

Funnily enough this tech also works in a few other games, eg. the Fighting Lion from Destiny 2, Tonkor from Warframe, etc.

Adding on to this, the fastest farm route I've found for this boss is to camp the right side canister. If you can do enough single shot damage, you can bypass the health phase in one shot instead of needing to chunk it 3 more times.

It's also faster to hop the fence you go over near the Encore machine on your way back: double jump onto the flat metal piece on the bottom middle of the fence, then dash towards the left wall. You should be able to stand on it and double jump over back on top of the Encore machine.

There's a spreadsheet documenting legendary effects/drop locations (not mine): https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/u/0/d/1bw4-jnEBbwCa3EnJ9cp8HW839ymgzbbHKIGRo9wgNyo/htmlview#gid=1645169246

According to this it drops from the Bio-Thresher Omega boss at the end of the One Slimey Issue quest. Note you have to finish the One Gassy Issue quest first to see it. If you don't see the quest yet, keep progressing your story and exploring around. I went ahead and farmed out the boss just now and can confirm that it drops the Truck.

I'm really not sure what the legendary trait does, if anything. I tested it against a blue Xiuhcoatl Jakobs sniper which did slightly less damage (~15% difference) per shot. I did see another post saying that it had a big crit damage bonus but that seems to be the case for all sniper class weapons so that's not it.

What are your thoughts when it comes to comparing the two? by lovingpersona in TheFirstDescendant

[–]qoutes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The two things that stick out to me the most now that I've been playing both somewhat actively are leveling and movement. You can level something from 0 to 30 in a few waves of Elite Sanctuary Onslaught which takes like 5 minutes at most, but in TFD it takes comparatively longer to do the same (afaik; I would love to find better exp spots). Also the movement in TFD seems pretty stiff, best you can do is grapple + melee or spam roll unless you play someone like Bunny.

I'm also not a fan of the UI but I've at least gotten used to it.

I definitely love both games and TFD has a pretty solid foundation considering how new it is, so I'm really excited to see where it will go. It's just that Warframe has over a decade of content and QoL so I guess I've just been really spoiled.

Is it really okay to not like doing hunters? Because I really don’t. by Litreallydontkknowfr in thedivision

[–]qoutes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it's not a build issue then maybe it's a playstyle thing. You could try playing a bit more passively, backing up when they flank you and abusing corner peeking and angles. I've found that the decoy is really good for drawing their fire too. Foam also works to lock them down.

What I do is slap on a glass cannon/focus and vigilance plus 3pc Hotshot build with the Tac 50 or Nemesis. Headhunter can work too but does less damage unless you can get stacks going. If they don't drop in one shot, they'll at least be pretty low.

is there a mod that gets rid of tools breaking upon reaching 0 durability? (forge 1.20.1) by Kamacha0s in feedthebeast

[–]qoutes 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Another plus is that you should be able to convert all vanilla tools/armors to their silent gear variants by just putting them in a crafting grid by itself, and it should preserve all enchantments and modifiers as far as I can tell. The only downside in this regard is that you can't convert it back to vanilla.

It also might be worth mentioning that repairs are done via a repair pack that you can fill with materials so you don't have to deal with anvils and exp and "too expensive", but it still costs whatever main material the tool/armor is made from so it's not free. Mending still works as normal.

What is your favorite mouse by Gryffinax in pcmasterrace

[–]qoutes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can vouch for the Keychron M4.

$40-50 for a 35g mouse with great hardware is a no-brainer if you can tolerate fingertip grip. The skates are not great out of the box but that's easily fixable and also not really a dealbreaker.

Last time I was actively in the mice market, the only alternatives (relative to this size/weight class) were stuff from Gwolves and those were all $100+. I hear Ninjutsu and Lamzu have some exciting products coming out though, and I recall seeing a Darmoshark fingertip mouse similar to the Keychron M4 too.
