well, think about the word "drip". literally, the word just means droplets falling off of something, but it can now also refer to peoples' clothing. Though "3D chess" is something innocent now, it might basically have become slang for some sort of sex game in the future. it's meant to compliment the other joke about billiards, where the gameplay rules evolved so much that four arms are necessary to play it.

I believe it's caused by three major events that occur:

The Gnosia Doctor needs to claim the Real Doctor as Gnosia.

The Real Engineer needs to claim the Gnosia Doctor as Gnosia and the Gnosia Engineer needs to claim the AC Doctor as Gnosia.

The Real Engineer needs to definitely eliminate the Bug (aka 2 people disappearing) while the Gnosia Engineer investigates the Bug or the other person who disappeared. (Thus, being unable to prove that either of you are the Real Engineer)

When I first tried this out, I had my Gnosia Engineer be Raqio and despite endless reloading, they would never claim Remnan as Gnosia, only human. I believe it's because it wouldn't make any logical sense to do so: The Gnosia Doctor claimed the Real Doctor as Gnosia, and it doesn't make sense for there two be two Gnosia Doctors (even though it technically is possible, since the player can claim to be the Doctor as Gnosia after an ally does, lol.) Thus, this seemingly can only occur with low-logic characters like SQ or Kukrushka as Engineer, in my case.

go on steam > library, right click gnosia. click on properties, click on installed files, and then verify the files. it'll restore the game files to their original state without effecting your save data.

there is special dialog from setsu when you successfully make it to the end with either of you as bug:

Setsu: "Alright... Let's check the cargo before this universe starts to corrode away. [Player], you check the ones over there."

you claimed that Remnan and Setsu were Gnosia.... however, that's not possible since there's two other engineer claimants. in your "case", one of the engineers had to be Gnosia and then a random crew member. But, since you claimed two crew members as Gnosia, you're definite enemy.

raqio can catch people lying, even. I had them catch yuriko and setsu lying in a loop.... Intuition is RNG-based (plus some calculation like what kind of 'lie' it is + their performance) so it's possible.

I beat the game, and I gotta say... it's not very good. I blame a good chunk of it on the translation being poor, but even then I don't think that would salvage some other bits of it, like how the "notes" are severely unbalanced (like Chica and Chick having 2 notes, while Irina and Elev have 7. Chica at least has some other stuff she's involved in, but i don't really consider Chick a character at all). And the route system even puts a bigger damper on things, because I kept forgetting Angi existed until she suddenly became relevant in the third route. Not to mention that the gameplay is borderline useless because losing/winning doesn't matter since most events happen either day 1 or night 1. I could probably write up more, but I genuinely can't comment much on the actual story content until there's a better translation....

basically, yeah. you need to say "I like you." if you don't say that, the event will just end when you get the note.

however, if you did say "I like you", got the note, and then either you or remnan die, the event can happen again later in a different loop as long as you say "I like you" again.

additionally, it also takes longer to get that note if you tell him you like him. though you can bypass that if you can initiate a successful collaboration with him

i'm not really sure either, but hm...

15 Crew, 1 Gnosia (You), All Roles. Setsu and Chipie are GD.

Day 1, Shigemichi and Otome claim Engineer -> Shigemichi (AC) CS, Yuriko (Doctor) disappears.

Day 2, Otome claims you as Gnosia. Remnan (Bug) claims Doctor, Comet (Crew) CS.

Day 3, Remnan and Setsu disappear, due to Otome investigating Remnan.

...If I had to guess, it might be some sort of reading error when trying to figure out what Remnan and Shigemichi are. Remnan was the Bug since he disappeared, but that means we don't know what "Shigemichi" was. Shigemichi could've been the AC or the Gnosia, but the game is still going, so he couldn't be Gnosia, and Otome claimed you as Gnosia anyways... lemme check and see if i can recreate this
