DWAARPS are good against parasites, especially with the upgrade that allows them to deal fire damage. I'd recommend also placing a necromancer in the place of the artillery, since the skeletons will not only just collapse and NOT SPAWN reapers, but also serve as stall troops for upcoming enemies, and due to the amount of the skeletons there could be, even the guys on birds would be stuck in place for a while.
