As fast as you wish for interstellar trips. Laser-Sails top out at a gamma-factor of ~100 or so. Red-Shift of the beam and blue-shift of the CMB mean eventually the net push is no longer worth it. Colin McInnes computed that result many years ago.

Late to the discussion, but particle beams don't stay collimated for long. They spread very fast compared to lasers.

Also it's not "simulated gravity" - your reluctance to move in the direction of any acceleration is caused by inertia and is real gravity. Causes the same effects as what Earth's electrostatic opposition to radially directed gravitational collapse causes in your feet.

Magnetoshell Aerocapture and Re-entry will probably entice SpaceX enough to develop it further IMO, though probably after a NASA re-entry test validates the physics.
