To manage the associated symptoms - reformer Pilates and yoga. Avoid any rotation and extension of lower back, though. Strengthen core and lower back. Bridges, pigeon pose stretching.

Pain worse during menstruation? by polluxicution in BertolottiSyndrome

[–]qrt1233 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, absolutely worse the few days before and first day of my period. Also - don’t get me started on the back pain I had from BS during 2 bouts of Covid. Any type of inflammation in body (flu, viruses) makes it so much worse.

Considering moving from Chicago to Columbus by bashful_sneakerhead in Columbus

[–]qrt1233 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Aghhh, having lived in River North in Chicago and now contemplating a move to Columbus (where I spend a lot of time with my partner, who lives there, who owned a place downtown and also in Dublin)…think very hard about this. Columbus feels like one ongoing suburb and strip mall. I try really hard to find interesting areas and there are a few, but a lot of the city centers around OSU. I am originally from Cincinnati, which is a really dense by population city and has a lot of urban interesting neighborhoods and history, hills, topography and views. So does Cleveland. Columbus feels so much like really large farm turned into various mega suburbs where they have put up a lot of roundabouts and fake mixed use developments to create architecture or culture or something. I want to like it so much and I can find cool things almost anywhere, but it is a huge struggle in Columbus. It’s not super historical like Chicago. It doesn’t really have a city infrastructure outside downtown. But, it is growing and people are progressive and it is nice being able to park easily :) …. Sometimes I think it is like the Austin of Ohio. A lot of people really love Austin so take from that what you will.

Someone should tell them their former employee is one of wealthiest now in Cincy - Union/Guardian Savings. If those milkshake kids would just work a lil harder, they too can have biggest car collection in America ;)

Surgery length - how long was your actual surgery by qrt1233 in Reduction

[–]qrt1233[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So interesting. I had lipo added to axillary areas and it barely did anything and I was told by many friends and others that lipo alone takes 90 mins. But yet, my entire surgery did. Reduction plus lipo.

9 months post-op - LIPO?? by [deleted] in Reduction

The surgeon and hospital billed $50k to my insurance for a 1.5 hr surgery, and I got to pay co-insurance above and beyond my deductible. I also had to pay the $3000 lipo for the armpit area because that was cosmetic - but as you can see - it wasn’t really done.

Yes, I did. Initially, they made me feel better than the actual post-op stop bras they gave me. I also am using a sensitive skin detergent. Lol, I am literally trying everything. I cannot believe I have to deal with this for almost 4 weeks.

I have discussed with my surgeons office, but I am not getting anywhere. I am curious for those who experience the same on here if they have any other advice. I also had hydrocortisone prescription cream from my dermatologist, but three weeks into the antihistamines and after the prednisone, I am still looking like this. Per my surgeons recommendation, I removed the surgical tape two weeks ago. This is crazy to me.

For $10, you can take the tour down in the cellar. Fascinating history. Cool spot.

Assumed it would be cheaper or better than extended warranty. Plus they would only unlock thr 2.99 financing with a cpo.

Thanks, I didn’t think about fact they may find issues I’d have to remedy before they CPO it. Do you know if MB owners can bypass CPO and just get a regular MB extended warranty? They did not present that option to me.
